You will love the feel of spaciousness with the home's open floor plan and cathedral ceilings. This custom-built home is 2,800 sq feet. It truly is a rare find to have this much living space in a prime beach location. There are 4 large bedrooms (three masters), 3 full baths, and an enormous kitchen with 30 linear feet of granite counter space. Three glass doors open onto your wrap around deck. The ground level features a large entertainment area, bar, full bathroom and a second full kitchen. This entertainment area has access to the yard, and the private dock area.

For those tired of waiting in line at a crowded public boat launch, this waterfront home features your own private boat launch and large newly rebuilt dock (Boat lift is not available for use).

Waterfront fun at your backdoor!

An excellent feature of this home is that is has wraparound upper decks as well as a covered lower deck. The wrap around deck also has gates that can be closed to secure children or pets. Because of the way the house is situated, there is always plenty of sun and plenty of shade! There is almost no point in the day when there is not shade on the deck somewhere. And because there is also covered deck areas, you can enjoy sitting outside rain or shine (even fishing off the dock under the covered pavilion in the rain)!

Sitting out on the deck sipping on your favorite Scotch will be a pleasure in the super comfortable hi-top resin deck furniture. The importance of those high-top chairs is that you sit comfortably ABOVE the railing for an unobstructed view of the water (rather than looking through the railings like prison bars). You can also enjoy sitting on the dock in the assorted rockers and gliders in the shade of your private covered waterfront pavilion to watch the day fade gracefully to dusk. The outdoor area also features two large round picnic tables so that you can enjoy eating and entertaining outside as well as a hammock so you can sneak in a midday nap.

Fish and crab right in your back yard with the two crab pots provided for the use of our guests. Take an early morning or sunset Kayak ride with one of our 2 kayaks that we make available to our guests. Launching your Kayak is super easy since the home has a private boat launch in the yard. We even have an air pump so that you can bring your favorite inflatable pool or lake floats. Inflate them once and tie them off on the dock for the week! We have seen some impressive inflatables out there. Great fun for the entire family! Then use the pump to deflate them to take them home. We have left some of our favorite inflatables there for guests to use (although we cannot guarantee their availability so best to grab one to bring with you). If you do user ours and damage them, we are grateful if you simply replace it.

For your indoor entertainment:

There are 4 Ultra 4K HT flat screen TVs (65 in in living room, 55 inch in lower entertainment area, and 49 inch in two of the master bedrooms). All TVs have are Smart so you can use your own login and watch your favorite streaming service or use our provided Hulu and Disney+ subscription. You can also cast from your tablet or phone (if applicable). The entertainment and bar level also has foosball to challenge your friends and family while waiting for a short sprinkle to let up or a meal to be served.

Enjoying the neighborhood:

The home is perfectly situated in an upscale residential area of single family homes at the cul-de-sac on a quiet dead-end road that the ice cream truck still visits daily during the spring, summer and fall. It is safe for children, for leisurely walk, and bike riding. It is great for the family looking for quiet waterfront relaxation yet still want a property that offers many things to do as well as near-by activities. It is just a short walk to the local arcade, the Friendly Mart grocery store, and the infamous Surf City “Trailer Bar” (2 blocks). Want to head to the beach? The home is also a short walk (0.3 miles) to children’s park/playground and (0.4 miles) public beach access with bathrooms and showers. A cross walk (at the crossing by the “Friendly Mart”) makes the walk to the beach and the park easy and safe. The children’s park features an adult fitness area so you can get a bit of exercise while the kids play. There is also a bike stand if you chose to ride there and ample parking if you choose to drive.

The home has a large driveway with ample room to park 6 cars (because sometimes when you have a great house at the beach people just show up!). There is also large grass side yard to park your boat trailer (since it is your private launch, you are free to leave your trailer parked right in front of the launch.

And finally, because even the best laid vacations plans still leave us with a need to check in at work or conduct some business, we have set up a 48” desk with an external monitor for the use of our guests (HDMI/USB-C Dock connection will be supplied).
