Unique Private Forest Home & Retreat ~ 15 minutes from Downtown.

We are a small family owned and operated business, providing clean & comfortable lodging for individuals, families and workers for over 17 years! I was on the Flathead Lake for15 years, still have Jane's Place in Hot Springs Montana & am now opening my private home to you in Missoula Montana, a vibrant recreation focused city, the perfect hub for your Montana explorations!
Take it easy & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway, only 15 minutes from Downtown.
The Space:
Come relax & settle into my shoe free, comfortable and unique, private forest home. You'll have 3+ acres in the Pattee Canyon Area of Missoula Montana, only minuets from Downtown. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, hot tub, sunken living room, new kitchen & patio area and floors throughout. I am just (Sept) finishing a long renovation.
Our cozy beds are new Tuft & Needle, a totally made in the USA and natural bed. Everyone LOVES them, I think you will too! Bathrobes & slippers too.
Our back patio area is a large and private gaveled space for enjoying your morning beverage and the hummingbirds, B-B-Qing, sunbathing, hot tubbing and did I mention relaxing with a good book?
Guest access: into the house sans shoes🚫. Bring your slip-ons.
I have plenty of parking, a great stop off if you're headed to the lake with your boat or RV. You must inquire first.
The entire upstairs of my private home is open for your use, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The laundry area is downstairs and you are welcome to use it during your stay, but no use of the basement area otherwise, maybe next year :). A signed acknowledgment of house rules is required. I’ll email you shortly after booking. If it’s not returned in 48 hours, your reservation will be cancelled. Sorry, too many people showing up with no clue.

The Vibe: Relaxed, Casual and shoe free.
Other things:
This is NOT a party house. If you are planning a party, this is NOT the house for you, no joke, please look elsewhere. No exceptions . You will be asked to leave, no refund.
My home is not suitable for kids under 16 or any pets. I DO NOT reside on the property while you are there😉
***We ask that you leave your street shoes at the door because of our graveled areas. We are a 100% shoe free home, particularly hiking boot treads pick up and hold gravel, severely damaging the new hardwood floors. Flip flops are ok, check your treads :) Thanks a million!! We provide slippers.
**HOT TUB: PLEASE shower before using the tub, clothes optional. Soaps and dyes in your clothing are terrible for our spa. NO street clothes or cut offs allowed. NO flip flops or water-shoes of any kind in the spa.
The spa is not a play area, no jumping, toys or glass please.
The spa is drained, cleaned and sanitized between every guest stay, please follow the directions we leave for you and CALL, by phone if you have any questions or there's an issue. thanks! Because of cleanings, the tub may not be quite up to temp upon your arrival, it should be good within a few hours.
I will show the registered guest how to sanitize after each use upon arrival. This property requires an in person check in.

***GARBAGE & Garage: We live in Montana, Bear Country. My home is within the Wilderness/Openspace Interface where urban meets the woods. I live with wild animals.
DO NOT leave food outside overnight. Do not leave garbage bags outside. During your stay, garbage goes in the cans on the LEFT side of garage. When you leave, no worries, I’ll get your last trash.

***NO SMOKING: Cigarettes, cigars, vapers & 420: OUTSIDE ONLY in GRAVELED AREAS ONLY> NO butts on the ground EVER. We live in the forest and are VERY concerned of fire danger.
Outdoor fires are not allowed at this time by law.

I do not do dishes, I don’t mind unloading the dishwasher after you leave.
This is not a home for infants and kids under 16.
There is no public transit. Local Taxi (cheapest I) Uber, Airport & Private shuttles can be arranged beforehand.
4x4 HIGHLY recommended during the winter months.
6 adult guests MAX.
If you are staying more than a night or two during the HOT summer months myself or my gardener will be around, OUTSIDE ONLY, to water the gardens & lawns. I will coordinate with you to ensure your privacy.
***as stated above, you are renting the upstairs only. The LAUNDRY, is downstairs. You are welcome to use it but not the space in general, maybe next year :) thanks.
Before you leave:
Towels into the bins provided in your closet.
Please don't strip your bed
Do your dishes
Turn all lights off
Lock up all 3 exterior doors. shoot me a text you’re leaving…
