Cozy Country Cabin

Our authentic log cabin offers a quiet and relaxing get away. You will be sure to enjoy the wildlife during your stay. Lots of room for outdoor family activities like campfires, grilling and horse shoes. Trails for snowmobiles, 4wheelers, and side by sides just outside your door. Also large garage to park them in. There are many places to fish and state land/leases for hunting near by. This cabin offers 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, laundry room and full kitchen with plates, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans included. All towels and bedding included. Washer, dryer, extra fridge, 2 tvs , window air conditioner units, large stone fireplace with gas insert for heat, spacious front porch, back patio, hardwood floors throughout and large dining room table for entertaining.

Was one of the best getaways I have had in a long time. The cabin was amazing. I could see myself retiring to a place just like that. We enjoyed everything about it. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend.

Heather is the best communication host! The cabin is extremely clean and very comfortable to stay. We look forward every year to come back to the cabin. If you need anything Heather is always available and makes our stay feel like home.

Brad and guests left the cabin clean and tidy. Brad was a good communicator. I would recommend him as a renter.

Cozy, cute, and clean cabin with all the right amenities - TVs, High Speed WiFi/Internet, Fireplace, Firepit, Grill, Outdoor Furniture and more. Loved the decorations and lighting. We traveled to Shinglehouse for a wedding with our three young children and it was perfect. Communication with the owner was on point and response time was very quick. Easy check in and check out. Cabin is ideal for many occasions. Would recommend!

Loved it!

LOVED-the fireplace, dining table, ambience, “how to” book!!! My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower, but it is common in a lot of places and not high on my list of expectations so no biggie. We would DEFINITELY stay again!!!

Wonderful

It was a great place comforting and felt like home. I rented it for my family as we lost our home bought a new one and it needs some work. My family felt very welcomed and enjoyed their stay. The host is easy to get ahold of and responds very quickly to your requests. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

This cabin is beautiful, peaceful, well appointed and everything we were hoping for and more. The pictures do not do it justice. We came for the weekend to celebrate my partners birthday. Pulling in, it has all the log cabin, cozy, secluded , rustic feels. We walked in to a fire going and were wowed by the beauty of the interior, it is clean, spacious, inviting and relaxing. There were plenty of pots, pans, utensils, cookware and gadgets, and spices- everything we needed to cook delicious meals. The beds are comfy, the couch is comfy and reclines, its surrounded by gorgeous woods and we only saw 3 cars pass in the 2 days that we stayed. Heather had alot of board games and even a chest of books to read. Theres a beautiful fire pit outback, a great deck with a grill and lots of firewood. Heather was super great to communicate with and her place is breathtaking. We visited the Roadside cafe for ice cream, the Roadside bar to have a drink and play darts and pool, and spent the rest of the time enjoying the cabin. We had an amazing time and cant wait to come back in the summer. If you book this place, its great for a romantic getaway or for a family. You wont be disappointed!
