OR maybe, you just want to hunker in and enjoy the refreshed space inside! Since 1956, we have been welcoming folks like you, so they can create their own Northwoods memories and traditions! The Hoot-Nanny, the place for friends and families! This unit comes fully equipped with a kitchenette, dining area, living area, complete bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom! And the best part, the entire unit was completely remodeled and refreshed in 2022! Bringing you a vintage motel, with all the modern amenities!

In the kitchenette, you will find brand new appliances, including a stove, full size fridge, microwave, and coffee maker! Plenty of space, and utensils, to stay in for dinner...or fry up some freshly caught fish!

As you shift to the living area, you will find something for everyone! A dining table under an oversized window with full lake views, of course for eating meals, but maybe some card games too?! There's also a mounted TV, WIFI, and a cozy afghan to snuggle in on the couch for a good movie, or book!

To finish off the inside, there is a complete bedroom with a queen size bed and views of the lake! There is also a full bathroom inside this unit, that has been completely gutted to make it more beautiful, clean, and functional.

Outside is an outdoorsmen's dream! On this South Turtle Lake property, there is a dock, two rowboats, picnic tables, a full blown fish cleaning station, AND a shared firepit for those starry nights! If that isn't enough to fill your vacation full...just down the road, you can find hiking/biking trails, cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing trails, snowmobile trails, the Manitowish Waters 10-Lake Chain, and many local shops and restaurants!


Each of the 5 units at Sportsman's can be booked individually, or all together, for our larger groups and events. You can rent the entire space on The Sportsman's Resort listing. Please reach out if that is of interest to you.

Our guests can use their designated unit, as well as any of the shared spaces on the Sportsman’s property! Including, but not limited to, the fish cleaning station, dock, picnic tables, and firepit.
