I would not stay after I got there due to the conditions of the place. There was a stump in the front yard that was burning causing smoke everywhere, the porch furniture was unusable when we entered the house it was filthy! Handles on refrigerator and oven door were broke off. Cigarette ashes were all over the top of the dryer. The kitchen sink had a wet dirty rag on it. Among other dirty items. The bathroom had mold in the shower and there were used soaps with hair on them in the tub. One of the tub drain hole was rusty. One of the bathroom doors would not shut. The beds had been slept and one was not made. There were no towels. There were dead bugs on all the window seals the throw rugs were filthy. There was an open bottle of whiskey in the freezer. I did contact the host immediately and told her what we found and that I did take pictures. Also the closets were unusable because of the junk stuffed in them. The host told me that the gardener must have been there using it. She did refund some of the charges but I feel that I deserve the cleaning fee and the service fee refunded also. We were forced to scramble to locate other accommodations, which ended up being a shared hotel room which incurred additional expenses as we could not prepare our own meals. I would appreciate your prompt attention and response in this matter.
