Cedar Haven is located in a private, gated community, at the base of Mt Baker. Special features include:

The Space:

This cabin is unlike any other, with lots of nooks and crannies, and space indoor and outside. With 3 bedrooms, featuring a king, queen, and full-size beds, plus 2 extra twin beds upstairs and a blue pull-out couch in the living room, it sleeps up to 8 people maximum.

The kitchen is stocked with all the common utensils and a few extras. Please enjoy the coffee bar, whether you prefer a single cup to get your day started, or need a full pot, the coffee maker can do both!

The deck has a propane BBQ, and the hot tub, flanked by 50' of string lighting, is a great place to relax after a long day in the mountains. A string light switch is located next to the slider door for after dark.

The "ski room", located to the left of the steps leading to the front door, is a spartan, strictly functional space designed to serve as a storage area for outdoor equipment, along with changing into/out of outdoor gear if desired. There is a plywood bench, along with a rack for storing skis/snowboards.

The swings, hammock, and outdoor chairs/table make soaking in the fresh mountain air a delight, although with all the cedars on the property, there may be some fresh "offerings of the trees" present. For this reason, hand brushes are hung near the slider to the front deck and the deck near the hot tub.

Since this cabin was built in the 1970s, remodeled years ago, and has passed through ownership several times, it has lots of character, a unique kitchen design, and a "loft" that looks down into the living room from the main bedroom above.

Power outages shouldn't be a problem, as Cedar Haven has an 18kw standby generator on site! Because who wants to deal with a power outage during their Mt Baker getaway? In the event power does go out, please allow 30 seconds for the generator to activate and restore power to the cabin. The WiFi may take longer to come back online.

Entire cabin and outdoor space of property, not including mechanical room, supplies closet, or owner storage.

Other things to note
*Dogs ok, up to 2 maximum. A pet fee of $50 per stay is required, for pets and ESA's. This does NOT apply to service dogs that are trained to perform a specific task for a disabled person.

There are multiple sets of stairs on site. Please use caution when traversing the stairs.

Please provide vehicle information to hosts before check-in. Snowline CC requires make, model, color, plate # and state/province for each vehicle. Failure to provide this information will result in a minimum $200 fine from Snowline CC, which is charged to the guest.

Due to the remote location, snow removal services are not available on site, although Snowline CC generally plows the roads to the cabin. The parking area is flat off the road (no grade). A snow shovel is provided in the Ski room. Please return it after use.

Hosts are not responsible for any circumstances outside of their control, such as weather events, natural disasters, road closures, etc that may impact a guest's stay. For this reason, we strongly encourage guests to purchase trip insurance at time of booking. Trip insurance charges go directly to the booking platform, NOT the host.
