Diese private, 2000 Quadratmeter große Haus wird vor einer FlussmĂŒndung und eines 5-Meile langen Strand entfernt. Es ist sehr zurĂŒck mit einem spektakulĂ€ren Blick ĂŒber die Playa Coyote KĂŒste, den Fluss und die Umgebung gelegt. Der Strand ist ideal zum Baden und Surfen und eine der sichersten in der Guanacaste KĂŒste. Mit dem Auto ist es ein 3 min. Fahrt. Wegen seiner Sicherheit, es ist sehr geeignet fĂŒr Kinder und "Surfer zu werden '. FĂŒr erfahrene Surfer Punta Coyote 'versteckt' eine sehr gute, aber noch unbekannt, Surfspot. Die Coyote Gebiet ist auch ein ausgezeichneter Ort fĂŒr Sportfischen, Kajak fahren, Reiten und Radfahren. Und nicht unwichtig: viele gute und preiswerte Restaurants in der NĂ€he.

Das Haus liegt auf einem HĂŒgel mit beidseitig zwei kleinen TĂ€lern. Das ist, warum Sie immer das GefĂŒhl, eine kĂŒhle Brise durch das Haus. Im Obergeschoss des Hauses finden Sie den großen Wohnraum und eine schöne, gut ausgestattete KĂŒche mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie fĂŒr die Vorbereitung Ihrer Mahlzeit zu Hause zu finden. Auch Sie eines der beiden Schlafzimmer haben. Das obere Schlafzimmer hat ein Queen-Size-Bett und ein Einzelbett. Das riesige Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein Kingsize-Bett. Beide Schlafzimmer haben einen spektakulĂ€ren Blick auf das Meer und im Abstand Badezimmer.
Die große Terrasse lĂ€dt Sie nach oben, um auf der Lounge-Bett oder in Ihrem hummock entspannen, ein Buch zu lesen, die Aussicht genießen oder fĂŒr Ihr FrĂŒhstĂŒck, Mittag- oder Abendessen. Das Haus ist ideal fĂŒr Familien oder zwei Paare wegen der zwei weit auseinander liegenden Schlafzimmern.

Rund um das Haus gibt es einen Garten mit einer Menge von Möglichkeiten, sich zu setzen und blicken auf den Guanacaste KĂŒste fĂŒr Meilen und Meilen. Unter dem Garten können Sie entlang der Rest des GrundstĂŒcks (ca. 1 ha.) Gehen. Hier finden Sie alle verschiedenen Arten von BĂ€umen und Blumen finden Sie hier. Und wenn Sie GlĂŒck haben, könnten Sie in einigen unserer Nachbarn, wie alle Arten von Vögeln, NasenbĂ€ren, amadrillos oder BrĂŒllaffen zu laufen.

Es ist wirklich ein Ort, wo die Zeit stehen geblieben. Ein Ort, wo man sich entspannen und die Natur zu genießen gehen. Und "das 'perfekte Ort, um zu starten oder beenden Sie Ihren Rundreise durch Costa Rica.

Vom internationalen Flughafen von Liberia ist es eine 2,5-stĂŒndige Fahrt zu unserem Haus. Vom internationalen Flughafen San Jose ist es ĂŒber eine 3,5-stĂŒndige Fahrt (inkl. 1 Stunde Bootsfahrt). Auch die Punta Islita Airport liegt 45 Minuten entfernt. von unserem Haus entfernt. San Jose International Airport bietet FlĂŒge von und nach Punta Islita Airport.

Wonderful property

Nos alojamos en Casa Verde con mi familia para la semana de Año Nuevo. La casa es hermosa, espacios amplios y abiertos. EstĂĄ muy bien equipada con todo lo necesario. Durante nuestra estadĂ­a lloviĂł casi todos los dĂ­as de modo que disfrutamos de la casa. Se encuentra bastante alejada de todo. San Francisco de coyote estĂĄ a 10 min en auto y puedes conseguir todo allĂ­. Es recomendable tener vehĂ­culo 4x4. Las vistas de la casa y los atardeceres son hermoso, sin embargo deberĂ­an cortar la copas de algunos ĂĄrboles para que la vista sea mĂĄs despejada (se lo comentamos a Minor el dĂ­a que llegamos)Lo Ășnico que nos incomodĂł un poco fue que los baños estaban dentro de las habitaciones y no tenĂ­an puerta. Pero en si la casa es hermosa. Muy aislada de todo. Si buscas tranquilidad y paz este es el lugar.

Privacy at the edge of the world

Loved it at Carla's house at Playa Coyote :) The ability to open the house and let the air and sounds and light of Costa Rica flow through it and the large covered deck looking out over the jungle and the ocean was magical. We had the local beach to ourselves many days of our trip. Minor and Ruth who care for the property are absolute gems. The house does not have AC and we were there at a particularly hot time, so nights can be warm. Playa coyote was a wonderful beach for our little boys because they could get out fairly far into the waves and still be at a depth below their height. I would whole-heartedly recommend.

Beautiful home and location

My family of 5 had an amazing stay at Casa Verde. The home was beautifully constructed, well appointed and had stunning views. We surfed at playa coyote daily (2 hours before or after high tide) and found the wave to be just right for teaching my children, and a nice mellow wave for the adults. The supermarket has everything you need and all the local restaurants are good. You can buy fresh red snapper locally and the produce was abundant. The drive from Liberia was no problem and the small river crossings were not a concern. This is much less touristy than other options, which for us was a major part of the appeal. We hope to return and stay for an extended period!

Beautiful views

Our stay at Casa Verde was pretty amazing, the views are spectacular.. There could be a few updates, like in the kitchen and maybe a bbq added, but other than that it was a very pleasanr stay. We enjoyed the beaches, thr locals, snd the priperty manager, Minor, hes a very kind man.. When we were without internet, which by the way is very sketchy, he was happy to hook us up to the neighbors.. There is no tv, we that was no problem for us, we enjoy each other's company.. Over all, it's a very quiet relaxing place to spend your vacation.. Don Perrysburg, OH

Incredible

Seclusion, breathtaking views, beautiful beaches, wildlife galore and friendly people. What’s not to like at Casa Verde? My wife and I spent 10 days at this wonderful and spacious home and enjoyed every minute of it. An all wheel drive vehicle is, of course, highly recommended (almost a necessity, in fact), but the roads from Liberia to Jicaral are all paved. From Jicaral to San Francisco de Coyote the road is the typical rough, dirt/rock one found in Costa Rica, but still, not too bad. Carla was kind enough to give us the satellite coordinates to Casa Verde (and they worked perfectly), but her directions from Liberia were so good the GPS really wasn't necessary. The house (and the grounds surrounding it) was better than we expected. It is open and airy (which is a big plus, since there is no air conditioning) and the kitchen is well equipped. Also, the enormous tile shower was a great way to cool off from the heat. And then there’s the view from the veranda. Well, words simply can’t do it justice. You have to experience it for yourself. ‹The property manager, Minor, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly (although it’s a plus if you can speak some Spanish). Great guy. We highly recommend Casa Verde. Thank you Carla for allowing us to visit your home!

Casa Verde Wonderful Home and outstanding Location

The Nicoya peninsula of CR is a wonderful place to visit. Casa Verde is a charming home that has an outstanding view of the river inlet and beach. We had no problems with the home and found the open layout just perfect for our needs. The sights and sounds every morning and evening were amazing. Every morning and evening we were greeted by the howlers, their haunting calls rolling across the terrain. We spent time exploring the area, so when you arrive do not hesitate to go down all the roads that lead toward the surf or up the hills. The area is not at all touristy and the town of San Francisco was a sleepy little place with a Soda, a bakery, hardware store and small grocery. Also there is a turtle conservation group located there. It is recommended that you have a 4x4 for travel, the roads are all dirt a little rough, however it is well worth the trip if you are looking to experience a taste of the beauty and charm of CR.

Utmost relaxing vacation

We absolutely loved to stay in the Casa Verde. It`s beautiful, tasteful, comfortable, lightflooded, in the midst of green, perfect in any respect. We spent many hours just sitting on the spacious terrace admiring the spectacular views, that peacefully change over the day from sunrise until colorful sundown. We explored all the beaches, those with calm water and those with breakers, some really endless and lonely.There are a few nice places to eat out. We went for a trip to the south of the Nicoya Peninsula, the tropical landscape is amazing, and it`s an exiting and unique exprience to drive through rivers and on the beach at Manzanilla. We would really love to spend another vacation at the Casa Verde, but then more than just five days! Thank you Carla that we had the chance to know this amazing and wonderful place. Costa Rica is a wonderful country.

Relaxing and peaceful

We really appreciated our stay at Casa verde. We enjoyed playa Coyote with our 4 kids, good waves for all ages, safe current, nice walks to pick up shells, enormous sanddollars and other treasures from the sea. Except from local tico vacationners, we seem to almost have the 3 km long beach all to ourself!! It is fun to swim down the river at low tide. We loved to buy fish at the local fishermen cooperative, buy our veggies and fruits at the little supermarket in San Francisco, where the employees gave us an handful of "carambolas" every time we went!!! We drove around the southern tip of the Nicoya peninsula (Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, Cobano, Montezuma). The back coutry is rural and peasant. Even tough we were six in a Toyota Yaris, we would recommand to have a 4X4 to drive around...easier to cross river.... We went twice at the Karen Mongensen reserve where you can see very nice falls and swin in little pools in the middle of the tropical forest. Always looking for a place to swin , we also made a contest in the Bongo rio and tried to find the river's most beautiful rock .... surprisingly, our daughter found a crocodile's tooth.....and won the contest!!! Casa verde is a magnificient villa, decorated with taste and surrounded by a nicely landscapped garden. Lots of birds, monkeys, coatis, iguanas, enormous grasshoppers and other small and curious creatures can be seen around the casa. Ruth and Minor, who were taking care of the house and garden, were discret, friendly and full of attention. We would recommend this place if you like private and confortable gateways, nature, and peaceful vacations, that's your place!! Thank tou Carla for letting us use your place, we enjoyed every minute of our very relaxing 2 week long stay.

Peaceful Getaway!

I loved my stay in Casa Verde near Playa Coyote. Located just a short drive to the secluded beach, the house is beautifully designed, tastefully decorated and has everything needed for a peaceful family vacation. Aside from the nice open kitchen, my favorite aspect of the house is the massive patio with the large family table looking out over the ocean. This area or the lawn area next to the house make for great spaces to do yoga or enjoy an evening chat with a fresh margarita. All of the furniture is extremely comfortable, the bedrooms and bathrooms are open and spacious; basically I have nothing but great things to say about this property. I can't wait to return!

Absolutely Amazing

My boyfriend and I stayed in Casa Verde for 8 days and we loved every moment of it. We arrived in the evening and the very first thing we saw was an absolutely spectacular sunset over the ocean. The photos do not do justice to the view from the terrace and from the house in general. We loved having our morning coffee and looking at the calm waters of the ocean. Our favorite part of the house was the kitchen, which is both large and well-equipped. There are hardly any houses nearby (during our stay we were the only people in the community) and it gets pretty quiet at night. It took some time to get used to it since we live in a city, but we learned to appreciate it. The temperatures during this time of year were pretty extreme and the house would get warm during the day (since there is no A/C), but with a few tricks here and there you can beat the heat. The area is very secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. We bought fish from the local fishermen (ask for Caco at Casa Caletas if you're interested), which made for a great experience. The nearest store is 4km away (7-10 minute drive), in San Francisco de Coyote. There is also a few small restaurants and a coffee spot called Cafe Sante. The people in the area are extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Speaking Spanish is definitely a plus. We made a few day tours to towns nearby, Cobano (1h away), Samara (1.5h) and Montezuma (2h), which were great. The roads were all unpaved, can get pretty bumpy and you need to cross some small rivers (so definitely get a 4x4), but it only made it so much more fun! While all the towns were really interesting to see, we were always glad to be back in our nice, calm Casa Verde. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your gorgeous house, Carla! We loved every moment of it!

Wonderful Views

Our stay couldn't have been any better. The home is as good as the owner's description and better. The pictures do not do justice to the house. It is a fantastic place to stay. We were two couples vacationing together and the separate bedrooms on 2 floors afforded us the privacy when we wanted it. The terrace view is fantastic, we could have sat out there all day and night. We ate at some of the surrounding cafes, and enjoyed the hotel restaurant and lounge immensely. The stores in San Francisco were very well stocked. Even with the language barrier (we spoke no Spanish) everyone was very accomodating. The beaches were huge and almost no one was there but us. We saw many animals and birds (armadillo, coatimundi, howling monkeys, iguanas, parrot, geckos, etc.) and the flora is beautiful. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Peaceful

First off, thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to stay in your gorgeous home for our getaway. We are from a large city and planned a destination beach getaway. Two other couples (our closest friends) visit with us at the home and they were speechless when they walked through the house and saw the views from the balcony. This place rocks! The house was a great way for us to relax and do things as a family. (NO TV's, Air Conditioning) We were amazed at the size of the home and how beautiful it was. The balcony view was awesome after a long day at the beach. There are so many great places to see in the area yet there was no need to leave the house because it was so AWESOME! The pictures don't do the house Justice at all. We were greeted by Minor (Property Manager) who gave us the grand tour. Very nice fellow. a gift basket full of tropical fruits from the area, and permission to live it up! Every email I sent was answered promptly by Carla (owner). This is not the first time renting a home and it more than met any of our expectations for the area. Our Vacation getaway could not have gone any better. We absolutely intend on returning in April. We were astonished and amazed of the beauty and quietness of this area. 'Where on earth do you still have those places with almost nothing'. We were so excited that we decided to buy. We already had the wish to buy something in the tropics and decided that this should be the place. We bought the land in 2005 and landscaped it all by ourselves. We created two lots. At one we built this house and the other we have for sale (see link above). For us Puerto Coyote is 'the' place to be free. Free from all the hectic in Holland. The perfect hide away to relax, to enjoy the beach live, quietness and nature.
