We are very sorry to read your frustration. Thank you for your feedback. It is a priority to ensure great customer service with our rental. We would like to address your comments: during your stay in April, the temperature changed almost thirty degrees within two days and the HVAC system was switched between A/C and heat. During this time. To offset this temperature change and any inconvenience, in your rental we provided a large portable heater and portable A/C. In case a guest is unsure how to use these devices, we live on site and can provide directions in person or virtually whichever works best for the guest. The entire property remains at 72 degrees at all times. There are two doors to get to the rental as a matter of increased security and convenience. Once you enter the main exterior door with the smart lock, the guest has there own private foyer to leave anything you like (eg shoes, umbrellas) etc. Since you brought your cute doggie, this is an area to keep their leash and hang your coat. Then, you can enter the door to your primary apartment. We hope this added security and space offers flexibility for guests. The outside entry from the street to the main door is the exterior of the home and is cleaned prior to the arrival of each guest. Because trees surround the entrance, there are leaves that fall. We do our best to sweep and blow any leaves prior to guests arrival. However, when there is a very windy day, as there was during your stay, sometimes more leaves fall than usual. We apologize for this inconvenience. There is a parking spot immediately opposite the home which allows guests to see their car from the unit. However, if any guests needs access to accessible parking, and we are notified of this, we allow use of the driveway during the entirety of their stay. We completely understand Maryland is not always safe our guests safety comes first. Management lives on site and is available to address any concerns 24 hours a day when notified.
