Unfortunately, we had to end our stay early and relocate with VRBO’s assistance. Our biggest concern was discovering what appeared to be a surveillance camera INSIDE the home in the family room/kitchen area. This made us extremely uncomfortable and raised serious privacy concerns. The central HVAC was also not functioning properly during extremely hot weather. Although two window units were eventually provided upstairs, the central AC was never repaired during our stay.We also encountered a dirty refrigerator, loose/rocking toilets, nonworking TVs, a malfunctioning front-door lock, and other maintenance issues. Some of these were eventually corrected after we reported them. What was particularly frustrating was being told AFTER check-in that “neighborhood rules” prohibited our work truck from being parked overnight. We thoroughly reviewed and documented the VRBO listing and House Rules, and no such parking restriction was disclosed. The host had also personally seen the truck earlier in our stay without raising any concerns.Ultimately, the combination of the privacy concern, unresolved HVAC problem, maintenance issues, and undisclosed parking restriction led us to contact VRBO and relocate. For the price we paid, this experience was unacceptable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property.
