The Bluebird, a rustic lakefront cottage at The Pier at Canadohta Lake sleeps 6!

The Bluebird Cottage at The Pier sleeps 6 people and is one of five cottages located at the foot of Canadohta Lake. Canadohta Lake is Pennsylvania's second-largest natural lake, with nearly three miles of shoreline. Activities include fishing, birdwatching, minigolf, roller rink, miniature golf, parks, swimming, pontoon boats/ kayaks, and paddle boards. The Pier is great for a family vacation or a work/play destination. It has use of the 100 feet of private lakefront access with a great view of the lake and sunsets. In addition to the lakefront access at The Pier, Ruggles Park is located immediately next door. It is a community park and is open to the public. There is a small beach, a basketball court, and a pier for fishing. You may want to consider bringing lawn chairs and a cooler 😊. There are NO LIFEGUARDS.
The Bluebird cottage has 2 bedrooms - 1 full size bed and 1 bunk with singles, and a pull-out sofa. It has 1 bathroom, a kitchen with a range, a refrigerator, and a small porch. There is a pavilion for outside dining/picnics. It is shared with the other 4 tiny cottages and is equipped with two charcoal grills (charcoal not provided) and a propane grill (propane provided). There are two shared fire rings at lakefront and there is parking on-site for 1 vehicle only. There is no TV, but we have Wi-Fi. There is no central heating, but the cottage has an electric radiator-type heater in each bedroom and a wall heater in the common room. There is no air conditioning, but each cottage has a whole house fan, and we also provide circulating fans. The Pier is equipped with a potable water supply. It has an on-site PA Department of Environmental Protection approved water treatment system. Our water is chlorinated and softened and tested monthly.
Kayaks and Paddleboards: You can bring your own or rent them locally. We have a shared dock to launch and tie-up. Lifejackets (not provided) are required on PA Fish & Boat Commission Lakes. There are NO LIFEGUARDS.
