One of the most magnificent lakefront properties in Big Bear Lake, this spectacular log cabin has over 100 feet of prime deep-water shoreline and puts you just 3 miles from Snow Summit. Whether you come during the summertime for a waterfront adventure or during the winter to hit the slopes, this custom cabin is ready to be your mountain dream home for a truly unforgettable vacation!

The large backyard has a deep water dock for all your boats and personal watercraft and is wind-protected, so you can enjoy evenings outdoors on the deck. You’ll enjoy unobstructed views down the length of the lake, providing one of the best locations for a front-seat view of SoCal's best July 4th fireworks shows. And if you visit during the winter, Lagunita Shores offers amazing sledding, making it a perfect choice for families or groups with children!

The backyard includes a very large 12-person hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of swimming or boarding. You’ll love soaking in the hot water, especially as the snow starts to fall.

Also included are a large sandy area, an outdoor natural gas BBQ and food prep area, a gas fire pit, and plenty of seating and lounge chairs. An expansive deck has lounge chairs for 12, while a gas fire pit in the deck keeps you warm on cool nights. There’s plenty of room to sit, gaze, breathe, and relax.

The main floor has a two-story family room with large picture windows that take full advantage of the lake views. Adjacent is the dining room with a large natural wood table that seats 12-14 and a large fireplace built from local stone and slate. The family room and dining area have easy access to outside decks. A chef's kitchen features Viking appliances. Around the stone fireplace is a media room with an HDTV Smart TV, fun games, and a great place to watch a sporting event.

The first floor also has a separate cottage bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a large ensuite with a urinal and expansive shower. Most sleeping quarters are up a flight of half-log stairs. The Primary Bedroom is spacious, with vaulted ceilings and access to a second-floor deck. The triple-sized master bath has a large shower with two shower heads and a jacuzzi, infinity-edge bathtub that fills from a spigot in the ceiling! Very dramatic.

Four additional bedrooms on this floor, one with two queen beds, two with queen-sized beds, a boy's bunk room decorated with rust and royal green, and a girls' bunk room that is lovely and light. All bathrooms have been updated with a high standard of finishing touches. A small office nook can be used for private work Zoom calls or important deadlines that just must be met during vacation.

Only about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles, Big Bear Lake is a beautiful and convenient break from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature lover’s paradise provides endless year-round activities. In the winter, Big Bear Lake offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing. In the summer, visitors love to play water sports, horseback rides, golf, hike, and mountain bike. Head to Big Bear when you need a healthy dose of fresh air, exercise, and rejuvenation.

- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

- This home can accommodate 16 people but a maximum of 14 adults.
- Please note, all persons (including infants, children and visitors) at the home are counted towards the total occupancy of the home. Guests cannot exceed the permitted occupancy at any time.
- Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the local dumpsite in accordance with the City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on the property.
- AvantStay plows and clears the driveway and one pathway to the front door. We provide shovels for guests to use should they wish to clear paths on any other part of the property.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

Big Bear Lake

This house was in a great location, had plenty of room for our extended family get together. The whole family was able to enjoy the beautiful lake, we would definitely like to come back and stay again. Thank you!

Great Vacation home with a couple caveats

Overall the house is a great vacation place , especially with a large group. There is ample room for all, lots of ammenities, and the location and lake views are spectacular. Lots of food storage with 2 large fridges. The deck is fantastic for daily gatherings, with ample seating, and some umbrellas. The master bedroom is fantastic and a joy to have stayed in and made it feel like a true vacation. Linens were clean plenty for our large group to stay for 5 days. The grill works great.Now some minor criticisms. First, the big one. There is no Air conditioner upstairs. We stayed in early June, and was already heating up to 85 deg, but upstairs was not cool, and even after opening the windows at night, was a bit warm. 2nd is that the home is very clean, but has signs of not being deep cleaned in a couple seasons. There were plenty of cobwebs in the upper walls and ceilings, and the big window that overlooks the lake has grime on the outside from winter, and could use a cleaning. it didnt affect our stay though.3rd, The smaller baths showers had complaints that they were not the best, but the master bath is amazing. Finally, 2 things not in the hosts control. The dock is very nice, large enough for our boat, but the algae was in full bloom so we couldnt swim anywhere off the dock, a huge let down. Also bring an easy up, the back deck is in full sun for much of the day and it gets hot back there, and only enough umbrellas for the lounges. We would stay again though.
