The Neighborhood:
The house is nestled on Mountain Rd in the city of Stowe. Just a few minutes from the mountain and next to a Mountain Shuttle Stop to take public transit to and from the mountain and village (winter season only)!

Stowe is a premier four-season resort destination renowned for its alpine and Nordic recreation, mountain biking, hiking, and world-class spas. The community comes alive with festivals, shopping, and dining opportunities with activities for everyone in all seasons. Stowe has made the most out of its natural setting. Mount Mansfield, the forests and fields, clear mountain streams, and fine air carve out an appealing, enduring, distinctively New England style of life.

Stowe is a top destination for mountain biking when not covered in snow. From hiking, biking, and horseback riding to playing a round of golf or taking a dip in a local swimming hole, you will never be without something to do in this town. Stowe also offers several excellent farm-to-table restaurants, world-class breweries, distilleries, and a boutique shopping experience.

Getting Around:
We strongly recommend that you arrive by car as it will give you much freedom to explore and enjoy the beautiful and picturesque Stowe and all of northern Vermont. As you already know, we offer free parking. Uber and Lyft are limited in Stowe but we can recommend local cab companies.
Stowe Mountain Resort has implemented a new paid parking policy for weekends, save money by taking the shuttle! There is a winter shuttle stop right off the end of the property.

The Rec Path is easily accessible across the street via TopNotch Field. It's a great option to get around via bikes. It's a little over a 3 mile ride to the village but you ride right past plenty of restaurants breweries and shops on your way.
