Fox Den Cozy Mountain Apt In GMF
Enjoy the best Colorado has to offer in this stylish bottom-level apartment. Featuring 1 bedroom, a cozy living room, hand-crafted bathroom, and custom kitchenette. The shared front porch overlooks the beautiful Gazebo Lake of Green Mountain Falls. Free parking is available on the property and you will be within walking distance of Green Mountain Falls' unique and delicious local restaurants, parks, hiking trails, and shops. We can't wait to share Colorado's best little mountain town with you!
Your space is one of three private apartments in our cabin, and is separate from the two other apartments. We have NO central air conditioning in the unit, but we do have a mini split unit in the living room and in the bedroom for your heating and cooling needs. You can also open windows and enjoy the cool evening air! You will probably be able to hear the guests moving about in the other units, but we do ask that all of our guests be considerate of those who stay in the other apartments. Within your newly furnished apartment there is one bedroom with a very comfortable Queen bed and a Full size pull out couch in the living room. You will have your own propane grill to use right in front of your apartment door while you enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife of Green Mountain Falls. The space has an Amazon Firestick that includes a variety of streaming services. Feel free to log into your favorite streaming services during your stay. We ask that all smoking be done away from the property. Absolutely no smoking inside or outside of the home.
Guests are provided with their own parking area where one car can park. There is a parking sign with the name of your cabin on it ("Fox Den"). Please be considerate of the other guests and leave room for 2 other cars to fit in the parking area. If a second vehicle needs parking there is public parking down the hill by the lake. It is a 4 min to walk back up to the cabin. Please do not park on the street.
We are happy to provide recommendations or help if you need it. We love Green Mountain Falls, and we want you to love it too!
The neighborhood is very quiet, but very close to some cute shops and restaurants in the heart of Green Mountain Falls. We really enjoy The Pantry, The Blue Moose, and The Gazebo Lake. We are located 6 miles from the entrance of Pikes Peak, 11 miles from Garden of the Gods, and 13 miles from downtown Colorado Springs. Enjoy the laid back mountain town where people come to relax and unwind. Close to conveniences but far enough away to feel remote!
We recommend that you do not rely completely on Uber or Lyft to get around. Most Uber or Lyft drivers remain in the Colorado Springs area, and do not venture to Green Mountain Falls. An all wheel drive (AWD) or 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended in the winter/snowy months! (November-May)
For stays longer than 30 nights we do require a lease agreement, background check, copy of drivers licence, and a one time insurance fee to be paid before your arrival. For stays 30-59 nights it will be $370 and each additional 30 night block of your stay will be an additional $130

-if you borrow it, return it
-if you turn it on, turn it off
-if you break it, fix it
-if you use it, take care of it
-if you make a mess, clean it up
-if you move it, put it back
It is recommended that guests have travelers insurance for the duration of their stay

-Damages will be incurred if found that there has been smoking
Quiet Hours are from 10pm to 8am. No more than the authorized # of guests at the house during quiet hours.
No disruptive events or parties. Airbnb guidelines state that if a guest is reported for a disruptive party or violating Airbnb's party and events policy, they may be subject to suspension or removal from the Airbnb Platform. In addition, the host may also ask that you vacate the property and no refund will be given.
Fee schedule for violating house rules:
-Unauthorized late check-out: $50 immediately, $50 for every 30 minutes after checkout (i.e. +$100 at 30 min after checkout, $150 at an hour after checkout).
-Smoking of any kind in the unit or on the premises: $100
-Unauthorized Parties or events: $250
-Pet cleaning fee (if pet uses the bathroom in the house, or has excessive shedding, etc.): $100-$300
-Deep clean fee, if required (i.e. vomit, carpet stain, bodily fluids, or excessive trash, etc.): $100
-Broken/damaged items: charged at replacement value
Space for one vehicle per unit! Park in the designated spot. If parking for a second vehicle is needed there is public parking down by the lake. It’s a 4min walk up to the property!
Travel insurance is recommended. As with any vacation, unexpected situations sometimes occur that can put a damper on even the best-planned trips. We stand by our firm by our cancelation policy and getting travel insurance is your best option for protecting your trip from the unexpected. Upon completing your reservation, we will provide you with an optional third-party Travel Insurance policy.
We use third-party guest screening: We use a third-party company for guest verification. Upon booking you give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm your reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest verification can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions.
