Misty River sits in Trophy Run.It is situated in a 42-acre area along the banks of Lake Taneycomo, the Midwest's premier trout fishing area. The resort offers direct access to more than 13 miles of manicured hiking and biking trails along Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo.

Trophy Run is located in a central area, just 15 minutes away from most major attractions such as Branson Landing, Silver Dollar City, theaters with live entertainment, the Titanic Museum, Dolly Parton Stampede, and many more. Driving directly to these attractions avoids heavy traffic on the strip.

The cabin is less than a mile away from the Showboat Branson Belle and Dewey Short Welcome Center, where guests can take tours and enjoy a breathtaking view over the dam. It is also only five minutes away from Moonshine Beach, a beautiful white sand beach swimming area open from mid-May to mid-September.

The cabin features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating up to eight guests. There are two queen-sized sleeper sofas in the living room space. The kitchen is fully equipped with all small appliances, in-door ice and water dispenser, stoneware, flatware, crock pot, baking pans, etc. The utility area with a full-size stacked washer and dryer is located in the laundry room.

Guests can enjoy a spacious patio off the back of the home that views the ozark mountains. The private Hot Springs hot tub and fire pit will make for a relaxing place to enjoy company after spending the day enjoying Branson activities. There is already a firestarter as well as firewood located for guest use. There is also a propane grill on the patio for those who wish to prepare their meals.

Hospitality items such as paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, dish detergent, trash bags, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, hand soap, iron and board, k-cups, s’mores ingredients, etc., are provided for guests' convenience. Guests only need to bring their food and beverages.

The resort offers a variety of amenities and activities, including fishing for trout directly from Lake Taneycomo, a playground for kids. Tad Pools Activity Center features a large swimming pool with a stunning view from the deck, a lounge area with a fireplace, flat-screen TV, fitness center, foosball, pool table, showers and bathrooms, and assorted games. There are no fees or user charges.
A spur from Trophy Run leads to the Missouri State Park "White River Valley Trail" system, where guests can enjoy hiking and biking. Within ½ mile of the Welcome Center, guests can schedule kayak float trips or dive trips into the crystal waters of Table Rock.

There is plenty of space for parking and boat storage. The resort is within 5 minutes of State Park Marina, which offers daily slip rentals and all watercraft rentals. A launch ramp to Table Rock is within a mile of Trophy Run.

Trophy Run is a safe and enjoyable environment for families, with the chance to see various critters and bald eagles occasionally fishing in the area. This section of Lake Taneycomo is called Trophy Run because of its numerous catches of trophy-sized rainbow and brown trout.
