Step into this lakeside retreat and prepare to be amazed! From the moment you walk in, your eyes will be drawn to the incredible details—especially the handcrafted live edge bar that comfortably seats 8 guests. Gather around with friends and family, watch the game on the large smart TV behind the bar, or challenge each other to a round of pool or darts in the spacious rec area.

Main Floor Comforts:
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, or head outside and fire up the gas grill while taking in lakefront views. The cozy living room features two leather couches, a smart TV, and a warm gas fireplace—perfect for relaxing after a day on the water.

A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, a washer and dryer, and a queen bedroom are also located on this level, offering convenient main-floor living.

Upstairs Retreat:
Head upstairs to the TV room, which includes a twin bed and a full-size bench/bed—ideal for kids or extra guests. A second full bathroom with a large walk-in shower is just off this room. Down the hall, you’ll find a charming bunk room with three twin mattresses and a secret ladder leading to a hidden cubby that kids will adore. Just before stepping onto the upper deck, you’ll discover another bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed.

Dawn was great! She always communicated with in a reasonable time! We enjoyed having the two television (one in the living room and one by the bar) we made a "sports bar" set up on a full schedule of sports day! Very fun! We look to come back in the summer and try the fishing!

Very clean and spacious. Great for our group ranging in ages from 8 to 70. Only three private bedrooms, but we made it work for a group of 9. The boat rental was very easy and a great addition to the stay!

Another amazing stay!

Renting a cabin from Whispering Pines is always a fantastic experience! This stay was no exception. They think of everything. The cabin is so well stocked, the property is sparkling clean, and quite new. We loved all the games and the pool table as well. Plus, communicating with the owners is always top-notch. We have no negatives whatsoever when we stay. We will definitely rent a cabin from them again in the future!

Amazing stay!

Our stay was beyond our expectations. The cabin was spotless and was thoughtfully decorated and organized. There were fun touches to be found everywhere. Things were well labeled and the placement of everything made sense. It truly felt like a home away from home.The lake was beautiful! We all had fun jumping off the dock , swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We weren't the most successful fishers, but be caught a few and had a great time trying. We had so much fun at the house we never left to explore the surrounding area, but there is always next time. We look forward to returning.Communication with Dawn was great. She was quick to respond to all of our questions and everything was just as described. It was an amazing stay! Thank you.

Lake life test drive

The host were so accommodating for our family. We spent the last weekend of summer here and it was perfect for our family to celebrate our daughter heading to high school. We brought our Bernedoodle, 14/10 year old daughter. The house was well stocked, clean, and offered so many amenities. We also rented the boat, a highlight for sure. Location is remote but we brought everything we needed and enjoyed the time away from everything!

Great place to stay

We were there with 3 adults and 4 kids (11-13 years old). Beautiful inside....kids and adults had tons of fun with the pool table and dart board. Very clean....stocked with games. I would recommend this place to anyone! We actually stayed there and skied at Granite Peak which was about 30 minutes away......it was totally worth it!

Great time and great fishing

Loved the property and it’s exactly as pictured. Perfect spot and very quiet area. Fishing was great. Bass boat worked great. Even fishing off the pier was good. Water is back up. Caught walleye and crappie all over. Area is teaming with animals and birds. House was immaculate and you can tell Dawn puts a lot of effort into it. Hope to stay again!

The Perfect Lake Cabin

We enjoyed a last minute weekend getaway for 4 adults, but there was plenty of room for more. The cabin is pristine with everything you would want stocked. It is all brand new and well thought out. Dawn and company make you feel so welcomed and the cabin just feels like home. The house is on a beautiful lake with access to plenty of water toys. A weekend was too short and we already want to go back!!!

Just what we needed!

Perfectly designed home for hanging out, cooking,, playing pool and relaxing! Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed the pontoon. A must to see the miles of nooks and crannies of the water. Only small thing that was tough was that the yard was not fenced on both sides and the neighbors were quite close. It just made it hard with our two dogs.

Even better than expected

We LOVED this cabin for our ski weekend with friends. We decided to maximize our time in the cabin because we loved the options of games and the coziness. We can imagine how wonderful the cabin must be in the summer with more access to outdoor activities and the lake. Definitely more secluded. A 35 minute drive to Granite Peak. Just be aware that while there are plenty beds to sleep, there are only 3 enclosed bedrooms. Loved our stay and VRBO experience.
