This lakeside home has all the comforts of home as well as a level lake lot. Rain or shine there is plenty to do with lake activities and an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. There is a lake-front bon fire pit. The boat landing is nearby. Home is located just outside of Willmar which has everything you need. This home has 6 bedrooms plus extra space for blow up mattresses. There is a washer and dryer, full kitchen and wi-fi for family movie nights. In the summer months we rent with a 5 night minimum, we prefer Friday check in with a Thurs check out. If you have specific date requests, just send us a message and we will see if we can accommodate it.

Family get together- so much better than a hotel

We have stayed at many different VRBO’s in the past and hands down this home has the most amenities of any home. This house is loaded with everything from an air fryer, two coffee makers, lots of pots and pans, bakeware, every kind of utensil possible, extra blankets, towels etc. We have seven grandchildren three and under and they absolutely loved the pool. (the pool area has a lock on door to get into it- thank you for that) It’s is a smaller pool but the perfect size for little ones. This house has plenty of bedrooms - and extra beds. Only suggestion is it is much colder upstairs and would be nice to have it heated better there. The light fixture going upstairs- I believe some bulbs might be burned out -wished it was brighter. Upon arrival the driveway was not plowed, just a little shoveling was done by entrance. Made walking around a bit more challenging. I did shovel as we have a lot of toddlers and parents carrying infants. We enjoyed your place very much and hope you enjoyed the snowman we built for you.

Surprise 80th birthday!

4 generations all come together to celebrate great grandma. The facility was absolutely perfect! The accommodations were clean, spacious, and more than comfortable! There was everything we needed from the indoor pool/ hot tub/sauna area, kitchen and dining area as well as very comfortable sleeping arrangements! We would highly recommend this sweet place for all seasons! We rented in March and it was awesome. Then there’s the lake and outdoor area that would be so fun I. The summer months!

Family weekend

The pool is a perfect size for kids! The house had plenty of beds and sleeping space. Lots of towels and linens. Loved that shampoo, conditioner and soap was provided! The house was stocked with toiletries and everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice stay

Booked for family vacation. 15 people. Enough sleeping for all. Pool, hot tub and sauna perfect. Nice to be on the lake for ice fishing. Would book again.

Family get together

We stayed for the weekend with our grown adult kids and grandkids. The boys went fishing and the girls stayed and watched some movies. The kids loved the hot tub and pool! What a great time.

BEST STAY EVER!!

If you want to stay at a family friendly house...THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! We have been taking our family to a different destination every year for a 4 night mini vacation. By far this is the BEST place we have been. It had enough space and bedrooms for all of us. The pool/hot tub/sauna was the best. The kids (ages 3-16) and adults absolutely loved it. Even though it was chilly outside that didn't matter. We were all entertained for hours. It was close to a theater and bowling alley that we could all go and enjoy. The host was AMAZING!!! Very accommodating, answering all my questions within minutes. I highly recommend to book. If I could score higher than a 5 star....I would have!! Tammi

Girls Weekend • everything in 1-place!

10 of us women were looking for a place that had a leak, a indoor pool, enough beds, and bathrooms. This place by far exceeded our expectations! Each of us had our own space to sleep. The organization & cleanliness was so awesome to see. The pool and hot tub was perfect for a fall weekend. Quiet location! Now my sister wants to book for her girls weekend and I’m sharing this place to my family & friends!

9/10 Great Family Vacay Spot

Overall, our stay was excellent. Our family had a ton of fun with the variety of amenities offered. Having a pool and hot tub on the property was awesome since the lake was quite weedy. The supplied paddleboards were nice (but only 1 adult life jacket), and although we didn't use it, having a boat launch right down the road is very convenient. The location is secluded, but a short drive to grocery stores and other shopping. The amount of bedrooms gave plenty of room for our family to spread out and have their own space. It would have been helpful to have more hooks for hanging towels and wet swimsuits. The yard was large, flat, and great for playing games with the family, but the grass really could have used a mow. The sunset views over the lake were stunning. Parking was plentiful. There were a couple items we were surprised by upon check-in, such as no dishwasher, no charcoal for the grill, no blender, and no bathroom washcloths. However, if we were prepared for these they wouldn't have detracted from our experience. When we asked about some of these items, the host was very responsive to our questions. We would recommend this spot!

Friends Getaway

Our four families enjoyed our time! We had some great fishing and water activites out on the lake. The shore was had a lot of weeds. The kids and adults enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub when we had a rainy day. Plenty of rooms to spread out in!

Great family vacation!

We enjoyed our family vacation here from July 26-August 2. There were 13 of us ranging in age from 4-67. The house was very well stocked with everything from towels to linens, toilet paper, paper towels, pots/pans, cooking utensils – you name it. Plenty of bed space (and comfortable mattresses). The pool, hot tub, and sauna were great – and they’ve added a sectional seating area (not in the pictures) in that space that made it easier to keep an eye on the kids. The outdoor lawn space was large and allowed us to enjoy yard games; plenty of parking space as well. The one downside was the beach and water area. I don’t know if it’s always as weedy and murky as it was that week, or if it was due to the heavy rains experienced this summer. We brought a boat and a jet ski, so we just used the boat launch and took them (and the lily pad) out to the middle of the lake and were able to surf, jet ski, and swim out there. The kids fished from the dock (nice dock), but didn’t catch anything. We also went to the beaches in Willmar and Spicer – both were very nice. The house and the area were great and we’d highly recommend it as a family vacation rental.

Yearly family cabin trip

Very clean. Nice to have the pool for rainy days, though there was an issue with the heater for a day, but they came to fix it quickly. Small space for our large group but quaint and served all our needs.

Nice home; lake disappointing very weedy.

We enjoyed our stay. We had 9 adults and 2 kids. It was difficult for our parents to navigate the stairs in the home. There are 2 steps into the home and also 2 steps into the pool area. There are no handrails. The bedroom on the main level was very nice for them and the full bathroom. We did notice that the tub was very slippery and dangerous. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom and full bath were upstairs all very nice. Our son, wife and kids enjoyed having the extra space for a playpen for the baby. The 4th and 5th bedrooms were down 2 steps and had nice mattresses. We were missing a little nightstand or dresser but otherwise they are spacious. The 6th bedroom is in the pool area. Our other son and his wife took this room. It was hotter; I am sure due to the pool area. The kitchen was nice. The dining room table was big enough for all of us. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The hot tub temperature was adjustable but recommend keeping at 104. The flat backyard overlooking the lake was very nice. Unfortunately, the beach area was under water during our week. The lake was very weedy and also smelled. I am not sure if this is normal or due to recent heavy rains in the area. We had issues with our jet ski getting clogged up with weeds the 1st day and we were not able to take it off the dock again. Green lake about 5 miles away has a very nice beach and ramp for a jet ski. There isn't anywhere to clean fish. Nice vacation home and we enjoyed our time together as a family.

Nostalgic Retreat

As parents/grandparents to 5 adult children and several grandchildren, our traditional Christmas gift for our family each year was a cabin weekend all together. But last Christmas Papa was dealing with terminal brain cancer and we could not make plans for 2024. He passed on Feb. 24th and after a few weeks I felt a desire to try to keep the tradition going on my own. I didn't hold out much hope that I could find a place I could afford on such short notice, but God is good and I discovered an opening at Angela's lakeside home. It was too early for lake swimming and I worried the grandkids would get bored. But the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna was a small miracle on it's own. The grandkids absolutely loved the pool and game room spending 90% of their time playing indoors! There were plenty of beds for everyone and everything was neat and clean. Angela was very kind and agreeable when I contacted her about an issue concerning accommodating a last minute special need for my daughter-in-law. (So grateful!) FYI there is no dishwasher but we preferred to wash and put away as we go, so not an issue for us. (We left some new dish drying towels behind if that's okay.) In case you need the pack 'n play, it is sized for a small infant not a toddler like our chunky little Julia! Also not an issue since we had one of our own. We had a great time and are so happy we discovered your wonderful place. We only wish "Papa" could have been with us. Blessings! Linda & Family

Girls Weekend

Was looking for a property that was large enough for 5 of us to have our own space but also have nice common spaces. Since spring can be unpredictable we chose this house for all the amenities. Everything was in good working order and we really enjoyed our stay. Only thing to be careful of is full bathroom on main floor the shower is super slippery. Not a complaint just keep in mind. Would visit again.

Wonderful and Relaxing!

My family and I had such an amazing time here!! The weather ended up being great so the kids got to play outside as well! When we had an issue, the property manager was there and getting it taken care of. Very nice place and very nice owners! Will definitely suggest this place to everyone!

We love Eagle Lake! Our end of the lake is shallow. This is perfect for wading in the water and the very gradual slope on this side of the lake is great for kids. It is about 5 minutes from the city of Willmar where they have everything you need making this location feel like a vacation but close to civilization.

This property is perfect no matter what the weather is doing. If it is rainy or cold, enjoy the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. If it's nice out, swim in the lake! We have paddle boards and a lily pad that you are free to use. The sun sets over the lake which is a beautiful sight right by the bonfire.
