If you are looking for the perfect mountain getaway then look no further. Our location is at the end of Lower Bear Trail, which has no outlet and creates a safe place with no traffic to let the little ones (if you have them) play outside with no worries. Our beautiful, END UNIT townhome has 3 Bedrooms and 3.5 baths. All of the bedrooms are en suite and luxurious.
Upon parking in our oversized, tandem garage that easily fits 2 cars and all of your gear, you will enter a large mudroom with in-floor radiant heat, a multitude of hooks for all of your year round clothing, several weatherproof shoe trays, along with a full size washer & dryer (we even provide all natural, fragrance free detergent & dryer sheets).
The next level is where you will discover magnificent views of surrounding peaks. The glass walls of windows frame James and Bancroft Peaks. Being an end unit not only provides amazing natural light and privacy, it creates the perfect location for the deck. Grab your morning coffee and head out to the deck where you will find a wrought iron table & chairs that allows you to sit and enjoy the gorgeous setting. In the summer months you can put up the umbrella and create shade and the perfect spot for reading your favorite book.
The living room gas fireplace creates the perfect ambiance, especially in the winter months. Gather around the oversized, living room coffee table and play one of the multitude of games (for all ages).
The gourmet kitchen has all of the bells and whistles, including a huge island with bar seating, tons of custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a built-in microwave drawer. This kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possible need during your stay, including a food processor, a blender, an electric mixer, a wine aerator, a roasting pan w/a rack, a Keurig coffee maker w/organic, biodegradable coffee pods (not always available), a large drip coffee machine, a coffee grinder (beans are occasionally provided) and an assortment of spices. You can enjoy your meal on our large dining room table that can seat up to 8. Right off of the kitchen is a TV nook. It is outfitted with a very comfortable sectional couch, a coffee table with 2 soft cushions that can be turned over and used as a table for your drinks. The medium size television sits on a gorgeous, eclectic entertainment center, along with a DVD player and an assortment of DVDs. This is also where you will find a wide variety of games and a few children's books.
Upstairs you will find the primary suite w/a spectacular king size bed and endless views, as well as a private deck. The primary bath has double sinks and a sizable shower w/a bench. To top it off, you will find a walk-in closet that is perfect for all of your vacation clothes. The guest suite has a stunning queen size bed and an en suite bath with a tub/shower combo. Last, the bunk room comes with 2 sets of bunk beds and an en suite bath w/a tub/shower combo too. All beds are prepared with high quality, soft sheets, blankets and comforters. Our luxurious townhome is also ideally located. The complimentary shuttle that will take you to and from the resort is a stone's throw away. Downtown Winter Park is less than a mile walk, which is invigorating year round.
Once downtown you will find a nice assortment of restaurants, cafes, shopping, specialty sports shops (ski & bike rentals), parks and live music.
If you are a mountain biker, you can access miles and miles of world class mountain biking, literally out our front door. You can even ride from our home to the resort without getting on a road. Our location allows you to park your car in our garage and have no need to take it out until it is time to leave. You are out of the hustle and bustle, yet you have easy access to it.
When staying in our community your bound to see some wildlife. We have several resident marmots, chipmunks, foxes, hawks, bluebirds, deer, moose and every now and then a bear.
This home has brought our family many years of joy and priceless memories. Our two boys spent a lot of their childhood here skiing, sledding, hiking, playing family games, watching movies and so much more. It has been a place where we had loads of quality time with our family (extended family too). Now that we are empty nesters, it is time to share our amazing home with you, so that you can create priceless memories, new traditions and return for years to come. We look forward to you and your loved ones enjoying our home.
