It is a perfect gateway home for the family or a small group. The beautiful sunset can be viewed from the raised deck or the private pier. There are 2 jet ski ramps and room for boat parking, so bring your water toys and enjoy this amazing boating vacation property. Nippersink lake is right in the middle of the 13 interconnected lakes that makes up the amazing chain of lakes. Enjoy fishing, utilizing the 4 provided kayaks or stand-up paddle boards upon request for unlimited water fun. The firepit next to the water sets the stage for perfect s'more making evenings. The deck overlooking the water is equipped with a gas grill and outdoor seating for meals.
House includes all towels, linens, and normal kitchen utensils. Hi speed Wi-Fi, games, cooler, beach towels and a few life jackets. We also have s'more making sticks and some firewood to kick start your weekend.
Available upon request and for addl. fee – Lily pad, kneeboard, wake boards, waterskies, tube.
There are so many things nearby to do. The Volo museums are a great rainy day family attraction. There is Wilmot mountain for winter skiing or tubing and ice fishing on several of the lakes. Wilmot also has a great dirt race track that runs in the summer. Walking distance to Metra station and downtown Fox Lake businesses. Short drives to:
-Lake Geneva, 30 minutes
-Great Lakes Navel Base 30 minutes
-Six Flags Great America, 25 minutes
-Gurnee Mills, 25 minutes
On the water the list is endless; there are several sandbars to anchor and play plus many deep lakes to anchor and float. You can get to more than 30 bars and restaurants by boat. Blarney Island has adult parties at night and a nice family atmosphere on Sundays with live music at 2:00. Thursday nights Blarney also has boat racing so if you like speed that will be for you! If you do not have a boat you can rent from several places on the water and Blarney has a shuttle that goes to the Island from the Port.
Fox lake has many activities at Lake Front Park you can look at the community calendar for a full listing. Friday nights there is music in the park and Tuesday night is the farmers market.

Great host! The house had everything and more than you could possibly need. Comfy beds and pillows, super nice hand soap in the bathroom, thick plush towels. A! We loved the roomy space! Fun being on the lake watching the ice fishermen and snowmobiles going across the lake. Sweet details all around!

A Great Place to Stay to Enloy Life!

Great house by the lake. Spacious and has everything a family can need! Very clean. Has plenty of cooking and fishing supplies- I have stayed at many houses in Fox Lake over the past 15 years and I have never seen fishing poles and tackle provided like this! Great views of the Lake and close to downtown. You can’t lose staying here.

Family Retreat

Our family of 11 stayed here and it was the perfect spot. Lots of room, nice and clean, and incredible views. So glad this place was available! What a lovely home.

Relax on the lake

House fit our needs and being able to sit on the dock with a morning coffee and the deck with an afternoon beer was great.

Perfect relaxation spot!

This property is perfect for water lovers and those looking for a place to unwind with family. The first night we made a huge family nest with our dogs and watched a movie. Our kids had space to decompress after a long road trip and my husband an had a great time exploring the lake.

Come up for my son’s navy graduation. Can not tell you enough good things about the owners and the property. The house made you feel at home. So many restaurants and stores very close by. Had an issue where we need to extend our trip an extra day they made the process so easy. I loved everything about the stay and trip will definitely be back..

The house was more stocked than I expected. It was like staying in a friend's house with almost everything you need. We had to buy our food obviously, but we didn't have to worry about the dish soap, trash bags, coffee filters, salt and pepper, etc. There were extra towels and blankets if we needed them. It was nice and quiet. We used the kayaks and rented the paddle boards and lily pad. We roasted marshmallows and watched the sunsets. It was a nice few days. The brewery down the street was quaint too.

Navy Bootcamp Graduation

Mark and Doria were great hosts. We landed in the region over Thanksgiving weekend for our son's Navy Bootcamp graduation. We were able to make a full Thanksgiving meal. The place was clean! Well stocked! And it's just a great weekend landing pad for our family. The drive to the base was an easy 35-40 minutes. Thanks! I highly recommend it for military families or just a weekend away.

Being able to host a military family for the Thanksgiving week was just an honor! Lake Vacation Perfection

I was looking for space that would be attractive to three generations (my teenage daughter, my adult daughter, myself, and my mother). This spot worked really well. We had access to the lake (we liked to use the island mat and kayak), to walking distance on brewery and restaurants, travel (walking distance to metra). We had family relatives and friends over for meals and kitchen well appointed to cook. Loved the sunrise and sunsets. Extra nice goodies like smores, firestarters and wine. Super peaceful area. Recommend!

Awesome Place

Everything is Amazing. Everything that is mentioned what come with this place is correct. Rented this place with my daughters, and some friends for bday, before all head to college. The firepit and chairs hung down their quiet a bit. Great are by the water and pier. Paid extra for the paddles boards and kayaks. Highly recommend! Life jackets in house to use. Washer and dryer. Full use of kitchen, gas grill on deck to use. Highly recommend! . Great deck off the front of the house. Beds were amazing. The bathroom downstairs is huge. We were all suprised how big it was. Plenty of space in the kitchen, microwave dishwasher, you can use all item to cook with. What was amazing to me the owners left a note for us, wished my girls Happy Birthday, left items to make s'mores. They leave a number to text if you have a problem. I had a few questions texted them had an answer right away. I will definitely try and rent this next summer.

The host description was spot on.We brought a dog with us and was able to enjoy thw property. From the geeae and ducks.Host had all the extra things you could want, we had a great time just relaxing. The place was clean and had a very welcoming vibe to it.

We are so lucky to live year round on this amazing lake. Ending a busy day with a glass of wine on the deck watching the sunset is my absolute favorite thing.
Mark and I want nothing more than for you to enjoy that same experience. Along with my brother Rick we just love providing vacation memories for families and friends!

This is a perfect small neighborhood on a dead end street. Everyone on this street is here for the same reason, to enjoy all the water has to offer. It is not uncommon for all to gather at a firepit in the evening to share a beverage or roast some marshmallows!

We have 2 jet ski ramps and a great doc for boat parking. We do have the best view on the lake for sunsets hands down, with a fire pit right at the waters edge. Our property can provide for you all of the toys you may need for your water fun at a very low price from tubes to knee boards!
The large family room with game area is perfect for evening gathering. We have included many games for you to have hours of game playing fun.

Unlike many property rentals we are just minutes away so we can quickly meet any of your needs.
