Not only was this property cute in its VRBO photo, it had everything we needed and was MUCH more than we expected. We expected comfortable beds, a functioning kitchen, a TV (we never used) and climate control, all of which were there, certainly, but the details!
The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, cookware, utensils including SHARP knives, paper towels and detergent. There were also freshly filled ice trays in the freezer, condiments, a coffee/tea/hot chocolate assortment with creamers and sweeteners. And four comfortable, adjustable barstools at the kitchen island.
The bathroom vanity had a glorious 3-section mirror that, when opened, allowed me to see ALL sides of my head without a hand mirror! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower meant we could have packed less. And plenty of hot water.
The bedroom upstairs had two very comfortable queen beds, with comforters and four pillows on each, and extra blankets nearby. Each of the four night-stands had lamps with two levels of brightness plus an optional night light feature, PLUS slots for USB chargers at the base of each!
The owners, Tim and Jenelle, built this place from lumber grown and hand milled by them on the property. They cleared and used excess or damaged trees to build, and to create “defendable space” around the home. Oh you’d just have to see it!
And the deer, the wild turkeys, the horses, the pool, the garden, and all the fresh country air you can breathe!
