A unique, freshly reimagined modern desert ranch home on a secluded private lot in Sky Valley. Whether you're here to master your golf game, explore cacti of Joshua Tree National Park. Situated at the end of a lane on a large lot. Modern interior spaces include 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, kitchen and bonus room - currently being used aas a dining room. Striking views of mountain ranges throughout ranch. New kitchen with white quartz counter space, cabinet drawers, new appliances & cooktop. Living room and fireplace. Netflix is provided for your entertainment, we have indoor and outdoor games. If you want the spa heated, it is $40 a night and the pool is $125 a night please note that if you do pay for the pool to be heated that the spa will be included. We run on propane here and it cost us more than what is paid to us due to us having to heat it 36 hours in advance, We do not make anything off it .

The property was adequate. We had a small dog with us and there were pieces of broken glass scattered on the property. The furnishings inside were adequate but looked as though they had been around for quite awhile without being washed or refreshed.Oven did not work properly so we weren’t able to use. Garbage was picked up only once in the four weeks we were there.Gate to the property had to be unlocked and gated every time we came and went. Difficult to rid the house of insects in the kitchen and had a snake in the main bedroom which had to be removed.All in all, not the best accommodations but doable.

Cute Spot

Great little spot for a private getaway. Out of the way of the hustle and bustle, close enough to have things to do. Great stay, great amenities.

Peaceful Desert Escape

Our group had a fantastic stay! The house is thoughtfully decorated and the property grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed the pool area and the viewing deck. Would come back.

Gorgeous Home in the Desert

This house is absolutely beautiful - the design is really thoughtful and comfortable. The outdoor space is breathtaking. Host communication was easy and clear, and we felt very welcomed to the property. This really is a remote location - it was easy enough to find, even in the dark, but it's a 10-15 minute drive to any shops/restaurants. But if you're looking for a place to feel "away from it all" or just a beautiful desert escape - this is it!!

Very nice clean property. It is at least a 15 minute ride from restaurants and stores. The road to the house is a very rocky dirt road.

Home away from Home

Wow! Wow! Ma missus labelled this ranch house as Home away from Home, the location is ideal, 25 to 30 min drive to either nearby city, and there is a grocery store within a 10 min drive, with a gas station if you just want to stay and enjoy your stay and the property.The house is clean, spacious, the facilities and amenities are amazing, and the decor feels relaxing, warm and welcoming!The Vibe is so chill and quiet.Victoria and Barry are excellent hosts, we had very good conversations and communications back and forth with any questions we had.Overall an amazing and relaxing stay.

Birthday getaway

My family and I booked our stay in celebration of our daughter’s birthday back in Nov 2023. We had a memorable time and we also had the opportunity to take our newly adopted rescue dog. We all loved the quiet and peaceful ambiance the property has. We had the opportunity to enjoy the fire pit, spa, pool, and we took a lot of great pictures. Above all we made lasting memories. The property was exactly as it was listed, very beautiful, clean and great views of the desert. We would definitely recommend it and return for another stay.

Incredibly house!

My family and I had an incredible stay at the Rancho el cello. The interior was comfortable and well furnished with a modern country theme as shown in the photos. The bonus room was perfect for family meals and games around a table, and the outdoor bbq and accompanying table was the perfect set up for grilling. The exterior was exactly what we were looking for in a desert retreat. Pool, hut tub, spacious grounds to walk around with multiple sitting areas, as well as a rooftop deck with incredible sunrise/sunset views of the valley. We wanted something different then a typical hotel for my work convention in Palm Desert and this did not disappoint. Our host was also attentive to requests made during our stay. We would strongly consider staying again in the future if given the opportunity.

A fun little spot tucked away yet a few too many issues

Overall the space was located close to the wedding we went to but it was hard to get transportation to the location so we had to rent a car. The spa was cold and didn't heat up in time for us to enjoy so wouldn't advice paying for it. The main shower was also too hot for the guests to use and there was just too many little issues, however, overall the space is beautiful with lots of different little areas to enjoy. We had a great bbq dinner outside, watch an owl from the fire pit on the roof, enjoyed the beautiful pool during the day, and the kitchen is a good size. We had a great time and it was good to reconnect with old friends in a very quiet location away from home.
