Entworfen von einem berühmten irischen Modedesigner mit 5-Sterne-Komfort. Die Wohnung ist ideal für Familien, verfügt über 2 große Schlafzimmer und ein großes Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. Ein Zimmer mit zwei extra großen Singles und einem Super-King-Size-Schlafzimmer mit einem luxuriösen Badezimmer und einer riesigen Regendusche.

Die einzige Wohnung im Gebäude, so ist Frieden garantiert, aber 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist der belebte Borough Market, BIG BEN, die Tate modern und das London Eye.

This property is located right on the corner of an intersection so there is a decent amount of noise at night even on the 3rd and 4th floors. There are 3 sets of stairs as an FYI. The unit was clean but much smaller than it looks in the photos. Neighborhood is quiet but 20-30 minutes away from all major sights on the tube.

Thank you for staying with us The windows are all sound proofed so please don’t open the windows if you don’t want noise We are in zone 1 central London can walk in 15 minutes to Big Ben London eye and the 133 bus outside the apartment goes straight to Borough market and London bridge in 9 minutes Maybe the best location to see all of London sights even the further ones London is big We are an old 1800 building of 100 sq meters with a roof terrace plenty of space and privacy Kindest Matthew

Nice spacious apartment

Four of us stayed here and the space was perfect! The outdoor terrace was a nice bonus. The location is a bit out of the way from typical tourist areas but this also made it a nice break from all the crowds.

This apartment was in a great location and we explored most of London easily from here. Matthew and his assistant, Irma, were great to work with and very helpful. The apartment is lovely and we enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace each day!

Fantastic stay

Stayed for 3 nights, 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 13, the apartment was perfect for us all, plenty of space and felt like a real home from home. Had everything we could of wanted. Convenient that there is a Tesco 1 min walk away to grab some drinks and snacks, and only a couple of mins walk to the tube which was great, excellent location and would certainly stay again. Have already recommended to friends and family.

The host was very accommodating in our check in needs, and the cleaning crew was lovely. The beds were super comfortable, and our son really enjoyed sleeping on the chaise lounger instead of sharing a bed with one of his sisters There is more stairs than you realize, but also everything that you need is either in the unit or close by. Gym across the street, transit and express tesco within walking distance, lunch and dinner options everywhere, and an amazing breakfast after a brisk walk to the kennington lane cafe The only suggestion I would make for the host would be to consider leaving instructions for the microwave and the washing machine for us silly North Americans who have never seen those units before, and otherwise it was perfect.

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. It’s a close walk to elephant & castle, or Kennington, which gets you to central tourist locations in 10 mins. There are lots of shops just outside to pick up essentials, plus bars and nice restaurants within easy reach.The apartment has everything you need, including lots of towels, toilet rolls, tea, coffee and kitchen essentials. It’s laid out over 3 floors, so gives a feeling of space - which you don’t often get in London apartments. We stayed as 2 adults and 2 children and was perfect - with 2 double beds for the kids in the second bedroom.The outside roof terrace made it for us, and is a lovely spot to sit out in a morning or evening.Would recommend!

All had fabulous trip

Easy and quick communications with Matthew, found the property easily and Irma was waiting to show us the flat when we dropped off our bags. With 5 of us staying there was plenty of room within the flat, good kitchen space, ample room in bedrooms and great shower. Flat central enough with easy tube links to everywhere (Kennington station 5 mins). Thanks really enjoyed our visit.

Great stay in London

Fairly central location with all the amenities you need (including laundry!). Walking distance to the South Bank of the Thames and the London Eye. Conveniently near underground stations; restaurants, pubs, and a market. Three levels with enough space for our family of four. Enjoyed the terrace in the back and a view of “the Shard” skyscraper from the front.

Very nice

It's a really nice and clean apartment. Owners are very cooperative when it comes to check in and leaving. Close to the city center ( Big Ben, London eye etc). The underground and a supermarket are right by to ease things up a lot. I can definitely recommend it !

Great location for a trip to London

My husband, myself and three children enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed for a week which gave us enough time to see many tourist sites (as much as can be seen with 3 children) that were easy to find off of the subway system (closest stops were Kennington and Elephant & Castle). There was enough room that we could all spread out and a great layout for a family. The Tesco down the street was handy to get milk and any other food we needed. We also made a few visits to the local park down the road when the kids needed to run around.

Perfect, perfect, perfect!!

I searched for a long time to find a place that was not only close to nearby places but something that would be comfortable for our family. This place was exactly what I wanted! It was so modern and cozy, having everything you could possibly need. The tube station is literally down the street and there are tons of restaurants and a grocery store nearby! Matthew and his manager Irma went above and beyond for us, checking in on us throughout the week to see if we needed anything and even helping us order a taxi at 4:30am to get back to the airport! If you need a nice place to stay that's affordable, choose this one!

Irma was incredibly helpful and always available. She is great. I have only three things to comment regarding the apartment: 1) it has 3 floors, and a very small staircase. 2) It is relatively well located geografically, but the surrounding and the entrance to the apartment is not very nice. 3) Overall what you see at the pictures is what you get. Overall is a good place to stay. Good look!

Just what we needed!

We are a family of 4 (kids 11 and 13). We spent a week on vacation in London. This was exactly the sort of rental we were looking for! We had a wonderful stay and a terrific vacation! It was really nice to be able to come "home" after a busy day sight seeing, and really "flop", where the kids could get away from the grown ups :), and everyone could put their feet up, and really have a break. Pro's - Lots of separate sleeping areas (2 bedrooms are on different levels, and then the lounge/family room couch can be used, it is on a third level). So you can really recharge at the end of a busy day. VERY close to the underground, buses, etc! Super nice hosts! Washer/Dryer - NOT like we have in the US, but still it helped a lot. Fully stocked kitchen, and a small market very close, so you can eat breakfast in, get snacks, etc. Cons - Being so close to all the public transit is awesome, but it was noisier than we are used to at home. This didn't bother us, but in case you missed it in the description - the apartment is one floor up from the street, and then three floors, so lots of stairs, if that isn't your thing. The apartment was very clean. There are three floors. Each room is in each floor. Only one bathroom in the third floor. Our main issue was that there is no AC. We paid lots for two nights, I feel that AC should be expected. We visited in June and it was quite stuffy and hot inside. The introductions say to open the windows but when you do you have the main road in your living room. The place is by a main road and we heard motorcycles, ambulances and cars all night. A second issue we had is that the beds didn’t have proper sheets. Not sure if this was a mistake but we had only a duvet with no sheets. It was too hot for it anyway but it feels unsanitary and I doubt the duvet is being cleaned between each guests. Sheets between the duvet and bed should be placed. Other than these two things the place was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - gute Verkehrsanbindung

Wir, das sind 2 Erwachsene und drei Kinder, haben wunderbare Ferientage in London verbracht. Die Wohnung ist an der einen oder anderen Stelle schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ein neuer Teppich oder ein neuer Deckenanstrich wäre meiner Meinung nach empfehlenswert. Das Badezimmer sowie die beiden Schlafzimmer waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Internet-Verbindung war hervorragend, was unsere beiden größeren Kinder sehr gefreut hatte. Die Betten und Matratzen waren in einem guten Zustand. Das Einchecken verlief ohne Probleme, Mathew und Irma haben sich immer umgehend auf unsere Fragen/Anmerkungen gemeldet. Die Wohnung ist verkehrstechnisch sehr gut gelegen. Eine Bushaltestelle liegt direkt gegenüber der Wohnung, zur U-Bahnstation Elephant and Castle läuft man maximal 10 Minuten. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen.

séjour agréable dans un appartement bien situé

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cet appartement. Les indications pour y arriver sont très précises. L'appartement est bien situé (proximité du métro) et comporte tout l'équipement nécessaire. Irma a été très réactive quand nous lui avons envoyé un message. Si la circulation autour est intense, l'immeuble est calme, le bruit ne nous a pas dérangé. Les fenêtres et serrures mériteraient une révision, certaines étant endommagées (difficulté à verrouiller une des serrures et à ouvrir certaines fenêtres).

I am an Interior and Fashion designer and with my husband Matthew ( a food gourmet) we have recently renovated this wonderful old listed building. Attention to detail was of utmost importance to us.
We have created a home away from home for people to visit london.
It is a large apartment and we have called it the London suite.

We have put in a large bathroom with an extra large shower to relax in. Our decked roof terrace is perfect for a romantic dinner

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We chose to renovate this flat here because it is perfect for a fun and relaxed visit to central london. It is a local area and is a good way to see the real London. We are close to the river Thames and all of central London, only 15 mins walk from Big ben which is a great walk across Westminster bridge.

The Flat is in a historical London building with its own private entrance and security alarm. We have many good restaurants and authentic English pubs around and we are a short walk to The Old Vic theatre the Southbank and the National Theatre which has some of the best music and theatre in the country.

Borough food market 10 mins walk away, is a gastronomic treat full of Organic and gourmet foods.
Bermondsey antique market has been going for 200 years and is about 15 minutes walk and is full of bargains on a friday morning
