Welcome to your cheerful hideaway by the beach, perfect for family or couple adventures! Wake up and start your day to views of beautiful sunrises every morning from the bay, Grassy Point Bayou, and the surrounding mangroves from this condo's extensive screened-in balcony (as well as an extra furnished balcony accessible from the main bedroom). Enjoy the comfort of the central air conditioning system, in addition to installed ceiling fans in each bedroom. A desk workspace in the main bedroom is available for guests who need to finish up remote work before hitting the beach. The unit is tastefully decorated to create a pleasant island atmosphere and also has a private washer/dryer to conveniently take care of any of your laundry needs. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher as well as appropriate cutlery and cooking pots & pans for guests who enjoy preparing their own meal. Guests are also welcome to enjoy access to the shared heated pool, and for spectacular beach access, a short walk to Holmes Beach allows guests to visit the Tiki bar and relax on one of Anna Maria Island’s most coveted and beautiful beaches!

Anna Maria Island provides a convenient, free shuttle for local islanders and visitors. This shuttle, which travels up along the beach throughout the day, enables guests to explore the wider area and all the beautiful beaches along its shores without worrying about parking! Guests can explore Manatee Public Beach, Anna Maria Public Beach, Cortez Beach, and Coquina Beach during their stay; all these amazing beaches are like gems and are located within a four mile span, allowing visitors to explore a new side to the ocean of their choice throughout their stay. In the event that guests need to run out for the odd necessities, local amenities such as Publix and Walgreens are conveniently located across the street.
For those guests who would like to experience some time out on the water, there are rental services available on AMI where they can rent a boat, or take a tour with Egmont Key Adventures which is approximately two miles away. Other rental services such as bike and golf cart rentals are available as well. Take a break to enjoy a meal at any of AMI's delicious restaurants such as: The Ugly Grouper, or something savory at Smoqehouse, or a meal at Hurricane Hanks, also within two miles of the condo.

Great location!

Property location provides a quiet experience without a beautiful view of the mangroves and water on the east side of the island. Wonderful spot in the middle of the island.

Beautiful, clean condo and a great pool, too. Really enjoyed our stay. Across the street from Publix, dollar store, restaurants, etc. A few blocks from the beach. We rented a golf cart and drove it to the beach each time.

So, we only live a few miles away but our family wanted to come visit us and our condo is too small for 8. We celebrated the first one of our 70th Birthday so we surprised them and rented this beautiful home! It was wonderful! Every detail about this house was perfect and very high quality. My husband enjoyed looking at the jeep in the garage. I believe he even polished it up one morning. We even had a storm one morning and even that was a beautiful sight. We loved the power blinds. The view is so spectacular it's fun to, with the press of one button, have them open up all together giving you the "Tada" moment each morning! We left behind a couple nice floats for future guests. It's located perfectly too. We can't wait to come back another time. Maybe, by ourselves next time. It's a nice getaway from our little condo. Thank you for sharing it with us~ ♡

Good but.....

I was upset about the Air Conditioning. They talk about a new system but you don't get to control it. It was set for 71 and it was hot and humid out so it just didn't keep it cool enough. 73 seemed to be the temperature alot. Washed the sheets as we were there for two weeks and the mattress cover was so dirty. I would think that this would be something that got washed regular as well. The unit itself was very clean (a few stains on the carpets here and there but didn't seem to be dirty) Lots of closet space was very nice. The mangroves are tall, which the pictures do show, we just thought we'd be able to see the bay as well, but not so unless standing up and then not too much, but nice and quiet. The patio was clean and comfy and the screens were nice for this time of year. Our fault, but from the pictures, a beach wagon and bikes can be seen and although the write up doesn't mention them, one reviewer said it was nice to have the use of the bikes, but this wasn't so. Its not a far walk to the beach but without a wagon and lots of beach gear it seemed further. (and it was hot) Also, no beach chairs, but camp chairs were provided. Good to have chairs, but not as comfy for sitting on the beach. The pool area is very nice. Location for trolly and grocery store great too.

Anna Maria Island, The Cove @ Sandy Point (#212), Relaxing, Convenient

If you're planning a vacation (holiday) in Florida, you certainly have plenty of options. Several known destinations, large hotels, crowded beaches, late night drinking, busy shopping, all the familiar food choices, etc. Please, help yourself and remember to pack your sun screen. We wanted a unique experience on a beautiful and quaint island unaffected by commercialization - that's more our speed. Ask anyone familiar and Anna Maria Island (AIM) and they'll tell you it's one of Florida's best kept secrets. Hearing about it was interesting but visiting was another level. Stunning beaches, tasty restaurants, small little shops with personal touches, occasional wild life here and there and, a free trolley that circles the island. And how do you improve on this hidden gem? Sometimes the best information is shared from good friends. We learned about a great condo in The Cove on Sandy Point (Unit 212). It was easy to make a reservation through Vacasa and it proved to be clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient - it checked all the boxes. It's just a 10-minute walk (Island life - who's in a hurry?) from lovely, white sand beaches (we saw dolphins too!). We found it provided the right combination of convenience and comfort, great access to and from Sarasota airport, many transportation options, food (grocery) and restaurant choices - simply wonderful. Don't hesitate to make a great decision like we did - just don't tell too many people.

Very good-but….

Stay was good, however there was only one wash cloth per person and one hand towel per bathroom. We had to do a wash every day. Unit was on third level-no elevator which we would have liked to know. Booking thru VRBO was actually Vacasa so 2 fees.

Great Stay

Place was nice and clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony every morning watching the sun come up. Location was perfect for us as unit is very convenient to shops, restaurants and the beach. Management company was informative and responsive. Would definitely stay here again

Clean and comfortable, great location

This condo is very well maintained, very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and has what is needed for your stay. Only issue we had was that the 2 reserved parking spots for this unit were taken by the owners cars- we parked in the guest spot by the pool instead, so note this may or may not be available. Booking and communication were easy, we highly recommend this unit and would stay again.

Anna Marie Island Vacation & Home Search

This 2 bedroom and 2 bath condo was very comfortable and perfect for our week stay on Anna Marie Island. It had everything we needed and was very quiet and peaceful. The only trouble we had was that the owners left their 2 vehicles in the carport that was advertised to be available for the renters. The management company was very prompt and was able to come a move out one of the vehicles. That was our only glitch. We spent the week enjoying the beaches, restaurants, and searching for a retirement community and home.

Great condo

The condo was more than expected. It was nicely furnished and spacious. The master bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking on vacation. There were also nice touches like games (Dominoes, cards, etc) that we enjoyed while we were there. The deck is private and backs to the groves with a nice bay view. The condo is conveniently located in walking distance to Publix and other shops, as well as a trolley stop. Some of the starting supplies were missing but Publix provided what we needed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Amazing condo with great location!

We were very impressed with this beautiful beach themed condo with a great view of the bay and a short walk to the beach. 2 bedrooms with separate walk-in closets and bathrooms. Beach towels are provided as well as a washer and dryer in your condo. Screened-in lanai with access from both master bedroom and living room with a great view of the sunrise over the bay in the morning. Designated covered parking space in carport below the unit. There is also an in-ground pool that is located by the condo. Publix is right across the street along with other stores and shops. The trolley that runs up and down the island picks you up within walking distance of the condo, as well as the Monkey Bus which you call and they will come and take you to your destination. Both are free and they run on tips only. You don’t need to rent a car as parking spaces are very limited at the restaurants and beach accesses along the island. The condo also has 2 bikes, beach chairs and an umbrella you can use. And there is a beach rental down the street where you can rent bikes, golf carts etc. This is our first time in Anna Maria Island, and we can’t wait to come back!

Winter Get Away

This is a very comfortable condo. Great view of sunrises from the main bedroom and lanai. Nice pool and convenient to the free bus service on Anna Maria Island. Condo was very clean and had good beds and comfortable furniture. Decor was extremely well done. We loved our week here.
