Our cozy cabin offers the best of both worlds!- This beautiful wooded property is the perfect place to come back to after a long day on the water or dusty day out on the atv trails, which are right at the end of the driveway. This spacious property offers you privacy and nature at every turn. Its the perfect spot for outdoor cooking, relaxing in the hammock or roasting marshmellos around the firepit.

Although we're not directly on the water, we are just a short walk down a shaded path, you'll enjoy access to a beautiful sand beach with clear water on a quiet cove. It's the perfect spot to launch a paddleboard or kayak. Steps from the beach you'll find your own private pier. Great for docking your boat, watching our breathtaking sunrises or taking part in our outstanding fishing. Come relax in the sun and enjoy all Post Lake has to offer!

We were unable to use the cabin. One day before scheduled arrival we received an email stating we were responsible for removing garbage at end of stay, Owner replied to our inquiry that we would have to take garbage home. We were unwilling to haul garbage home in our car. I think this should have been made clear at time of booking. Very disappointed with host and Vrbo.

We loved the outdoor space. There was plenty of sitting space in the living room and the bedrooms had a good set up. We didn't use the pier or beach but we're glad we had it available to us.

Fabulous stay!!!! Beach and water fun was a hop and a skip down the road :) cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The dogs enjoyed it as much as we did. access to the private pier was perfect for docking our boat, caught big crappie and bluegill. The lake itself was clear but incredibly orange red - if your kiddo freaked out like mine did no worries there is another crystal clear lake 10 min down the road - jack lake. Ideal for beach day :) perfect location quiet and Fun, Clean and ultra comfortable!!! Well be there again! Thank you!

Cute but small

The place is cute but we felt a bit crowded. Our party was 4 adults, a child, and two dogs. We had to clean the gas grill before use because it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Lots of burnt on food and grease. From the photos on the listing, we assumed the short walk to the beach was down the driveway and across the road, not down the road to another driveway and another driveway. I rate it a 5/10.

Upper Post Lake stay

Small but cute home. Pictures match the property. Beach located a minute or 2 off the property. Spent a day there swimming in water. Not a large area but it was quiet. Rented a pontoon that was delivered to a nearby boat launch. Lake was not busy, however not good fishing, which was disappointing. My husband found an awesome golf course called Bass Lake golf course. We did not care for the North Trail store. High prices iffy meat selection. Go into Antigo or Rhileander. Setting is beautiful. Beds were very comfortable. Good wifi. Overall a nice affordable place to stay.

Memories

You never know when you’re going to find that perfect place to make a new memory but I promise you this place will is where that magic happens . The Cabin is not only clean but so cozy inside. It is decorated inside to make you feel like you’re a at 5 star hotel! The Owners are right there to help you out when needed with no attitude given. Excellent fishing off the pier for pan fish and a few bass . I will definitely be back to enjoy this paradise.

Very nice place. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. The accommodations were very nice, although the beds were all bunk beds, including a twin with a single on top which made sleeping not the most comfortable. I’m not used to sleeping in a bunk bed so I felt restricted. The fire pit and chairs outside and the hammock were all great. The smart TVs in the living room and bedroom were a bonus. The neighbors were very nice, but it sounded like a campground over the weekend. The fishing was pretty good. Walleye, bluegill, and crappies! The boat landings are close and very nice. I would definitely return.

Fall Getaway

Took an extra long weekend to get away and get a change of scenery with my dog. The cabin was cute. Had beautiful weather to enjoy the hammock. My dog enjoyed being outside as often as she could as well!

Perfect get away

I cant recommend this property highly enough!! I came up here for a little get away with my mom and dog and we enjoyed ourselves so much we extended our trip a full day. The cabin is small but has a fantastic lay out so you dont feel like you're crowding eachother. The decore is the perfect mix of goofy, classic, and cozy. Plenty of storage and places to hang jackets and such. The outdoor area includes a fire pit, a hammock, and a lovely picnic table that we spent ample time at. The beach is just a 2-3 minute walk down the way, and is clearly marked and accessible enough for an arthritic pitbull. *my only note and this is not a reflection on the property or owners at all* If your dog is reactive to other dogs do not turn right out of the driveway when going for a stroll. There are two very sweet but very off leash free range dogs down the way. The dogs listened when told to go home and kept they're distance so we had no issues. We instead now turn left and go around the neighborhood that way, or walk to the beach. No issues that way at all so far 😊. Again, not an issue with the property, just country dogs being country dogs. Would probably be a delightful surprise for most folks!

When This Old World Starts Getting You Down

Fanstastic cottage in the woods. Everything you need....great kitchen, grill, firepit. Top notch heated bathroom with lots of hot water. Close to beautiful hiking trails along the Ice Age Trail. AND...we saw the Aurora Borealis over Upper Post Lake! Owners were very responsive when questions arose. Hated to leave.

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet, well-appointed cabin. Close to an excellent supper club and with easy access to trails, the Nicolet (we came primarily for a cycling event), and low traffic roads.

Upper Post lake trip

Great cabin, close to the water, and close to boat ramp. Was a great week fishing both upper Post Lake and also pelican Lake that is only 15 minutes away! Great host beautiful little cabin nestled in the northern woods! Highly recommend.

Excellent getaway!

This cabin was the perfect spot for a long weekend in the northwoods. Hosts are very responsive. The cabin is not on the lake but a quick 2 minute walk gets you to a quiet, semi-private beach and a private pier. Our dogs had a blast playing in the water and chasing chipmunks on the property. The provided kayaks and paddleboard were appreciated to get out on the water. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice little cabin

Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. The cabin was clean and nicely appointed. The setting was very peaceful. Our initial impression, though, was disappointment because from the pictures and description we thought the cabin was lakefront. It is actually a couple hundred yards from the lake and with no lake views. We chose to put that out of our minds and enjoyed our stay. I gave a 4 on cleanliness only because the outdoor furniture had marshmallow goo on it from a previous guest’s s’mores party. Cabin itself was very clean.Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Little cabin is sweet getaway spot

This cozy cabin was just what we needed for a few days getaway. Peace and quiet and privacy were our desires and it delivered. It had just enough space for the two of us and our dog. The inside amenities in the kitchen, bathroom and AC were enjoyable. Outside fire pit for campfires and chairs for lounging were very much appreciated. The beach area was definitely a plus for entertaining our dog. We were wishing we could’ve stayed longer.
