The `Aviary` is an architectural mystery, divided into two distinct, couple-centric worlds:

The Lounge: The space features striking matte-black wood paneling and a matching dark ceiling, which creates a sophisticated, cocoon-like atmosphere that makes the lush outdoor greenery visible through the windows pop with color. At the heart of the room is a rich, cognac-colored leather sofa and a mid-century modern armchair, both centered on a thick, plush multi-tonal area rug that adds significant warmth and comfort to the light wood flooring. Industrial-style lighting, including cage-pendant ceiling lights and a sleek black wall sconce, provides a soft, atmospheric glow that highlights the nature-inspired art and the flickering warmth of the propane heating stove tucked into the corner. This open-concept space flows seamlessly into the dining area, maintaining a perfect balance between high-end Art Deco elegance and cozy, riverside retreat comfort.

The ergonomic design includes integrated structural attachment points at multiple elevations, perfectly positioned for the use of specialized limb-support accessories and focused stability.

The Integrated Gallery Wall: A dedicated architectural feature finished in matching oxblood tones and framed in industrial-grade, powder-coated black metal. The installation features a sequence of discreetly positioned hardware points located at specific height intervals, designed to accommodate a variety of tactile accessories and customizable sensory configurations.

Guests will have full access to our private home, front deck and rear patio.

You`re welcome to explore the property all the way down to the rushing waters of the Lackawaxen river. Feel free to enjoy our riverfront deck and adjacent fire-pit. Use caution descending our riverfront steps. They`re a bit rugged.

For those who love the outdoors, the area is a premier destination for kayaking, rafting, fishing, and cycling, as well as seasonal skiing and exceptional bird watching. While you’ll feel worlds away from the city, our central location provides convenient access to the most charming towns in the region, including Narrowsburg, Livingston Manor, Hawley, Honesdale, and Milford, PA.

There is no public transportation so a vehicle to get around is required.

* Connectivity: We are a true retreat from the grid. While there is no cellular signal, our High-Speed Fiber Wi-Fi is reliable and fast.

* Property Boundaries: To maintain our `Speakeasy` level of discretion, please respect all marked property boundaries. Our neighbors value their privacy too.

* Our Premier Amenities: The hot tub, BBQ, fire pit, and other seasonal luxuries are provided for your relaxation and enjoyment. While we take every measure to ensure these features are meticulously maintained and operational for your arrival, their availability can occasionally be affected by maintenance or mountain weather. As such, we are unable to offer discounts or refunds should a specific amenity be unavailable during your stay.
