The Woods At Whitetail Ridge- 2 fireplaces-
Summary:
Escape the hustle and breathe at Whitetail Ridge Cabin. Take your mountain adventure to the next level surrounded by whispering trees, squirrels, bears, deer and melodic bird songs. Enjoy cider or hot chocolate as you listen to the tapping rain on the metal roof. Cozy fireplaces, both inside and out on the deck, allow for memories made, belly laughs heard and connections felt. Fully stocked except for food. A short, bumpy gravel road drive leads to your hideaway. Apprx 8 miles to town.
The Space:
Tucked away on Double Knob Mountain, Whitetail Ridge awaits. Open concept to recently updated living, dining, and kitchen area. Lots of windows create an atmosphere that nearly transports you to a forest world. Cuddle up on the couch in front of the easy-to-use gas fireplace. Then take a deep breath and release your stress as you settle into one of our comfy rooms equipped with Roku tvs.
There are 2 bedrooms. One with a queen memory foam bed and private access to the patio from a glass door.... no waking the kiddos in the morning. Lots of space for your items in the dresser and closet. The second bedroom is a fun forest themed room that has twin sized bunkbeds with an extra trundle pull out bed. The bed has drawers for items. The closet in the room will be locked as it is our supply space. There is a shared bathroom with tub for bath time. Feel free to use the washer/dryer should you need to.
Relaxation envelops as you rock in the chairs in front of the outdoor fireplace under a covered deck or gazing into the canopy of forest trees while listening to the birds chirp and leaves drift to the ground. Help yourself to the firewood under the cabin IF available, though it runs out quickly during season. To be sure, please bring your own wood… please NO PINE. Local home improvement stores are always stocked.
This place is truly magical for a romantic couple’s getaway or small family retreat. We’d love to host you while you create life-long memories.
