The location was great and extremely convenient to Bryce and Zion. We also explored all of the amazing locations that are less known but just as amazing, and are much closer to Duck Creek-Cedar Breaks, Strawberry Point. Spent a great day in Cedar City as well. As for the house, it was clean, well appointed for cooking meals-which we did all week. Plenty of room for double the amount of people we had. The first night, the smoke alarms went off all night-which sucked-but they sent maintenance the next morning to remove the faulty smoke head. Also, we did not feel comfortable using the fireplace or fire pit because there were many rules around cleanliness and type of wood you could use. The hot tub-and I think they should clarify this in the description- is not located in a great location on the property. It actually sits on the front of the property, facing and close to the road. Also no easy access from the house-requires walking from the main house, down a flight of stairs and across the driveway. Would’ve been great following days of hiking Bryce and Zion, but the location and the fact that the construction crew across the street worked late into the evening-and we didn’t want to hot tub in front of them-made the prospect of using the hot tub unwelcoming. We did play a good amount of pool in the game room which was fun! We met some great locals in the Duck Creek Village-including Krazy Mike who served awesome sandwiches and had stellar advice on sites to visit.
