We're so glad you had a great stay and enjoyed Mist's convenient location! The porch does get swept with every turnover, but the charming trees in the little yard do love to drop leaves year-round!

We’re sorry this guest was so uncomfortable, but the description here is significantly more alarming than what was reported to us during the stay. The pest concerns communicated to our team consisted of a spider on the living room wall and a spider outdoors. These concerns were reported shortly before 10pm upon arrival, and despite the late hour, we offered to have someone come address them first thing in the morning. The guest declined our offer. A spider outdoors is, of course, a normal part of the environment, and an occasional spider finding its way inside does not indicate an infestation. The $200 referenced was a security deposit authorization and is clearly communicated prior to booking, within the House Rules, and inside the Renter Agreement signed by each guest. We also send guests the information needed for check-in, their stay, and check-out. We take great care of our properties, including professional cleaning between guests and promptly addressing concerns whenever they are brought to our attention.

I'm so sorry you had a difficult time with the shower/tub combo, Joe! Unfortunately no unit at the Lumberyard is entirely accessible, as there are stairs upon entry, but we do have another fully accessible unit in Minnesota, Morning Glory Apartment in Stillwater, MN, and we would love to host you there in the future. Morning Glory has grab bars, a walk-in shower with wall-bench... all the helpful things!
