Casa Cuachalala is a sleek, modern villa with stunning architectural and design elements throughout the 6000-square-foot beachfront property. This spectacular Oaxaca villa is located at the entrance of Mazunte, so guests can enjoy the perks of the bohemian next door town.

The space
Brand new ocean view Villa with private pool and walking access to a private beach. This property is only 42 kms away from Huatulco international airport (HUX) and 40 kms away from Puerto Escondido. It's suitable for up to 12 people.

Casa Cuachalala is a fully equipped and independent house with 4 bedrooms (all rooms have air conditioning and full shower bathrooms). It is perched on the cliffs and offers a magnificent, front-row view of the shimmering Pacific.

On the main floor, living room, dining room, pool terrace and kitchen stand under a tall roof and only one stone wall.

There is a back terrace facing the jungle with a grill and a wood oven. Furniture is very modular so you can define your preferred option.

The house have two independent kitchens fully equipped (stove, oven, blender, coffee maker, toaster, etc…) and two dining rooms. The main table seats up to 12 people.

The entrance floor offers the main bedroom with a king size bed, and a convertible sofa to a child's bed, a full bathroom and direct access to an ocean view private terrace. A second bedroom with a king size bed or two individual beds with an independent bathroom and finally, a family tv room that can eventually become 2 individual beds.

The downstairs floor offers two additional rooms, the first one with two queen beds and a convertible sofa to one child individual bed and access to a private ocean view terrace.

The fourth room has two queen size beds and two individual beds and also has its own private bathroom.

Casa Cuachalala is located in a gated community, 6 minutes by taxi from Mazunte beach and the village.

Our staff will greet you upon arrival and wish you a safe return home. No keys are needed.
Other things to note
Considerations:

1. Service
The rent of the house includes a staff of 3 people:
-Cook
- Maid
-Butler

The service is available from 8 am to 4 pm daily. It is important to define breakfast and lunch hours upon your arrival so that the cook can organize properly. There is available an option for dinner preparation for extra 500 pesos daily.

* In case of being 7 or more people, an extra cleaning service person will be hired at an additional cost of 500 pesos per day.

The tip of the staff is not included.

2. Groceries
The rent includes a service -either before or after your arrival- of grocery shopping.

Groceries and beverages are not included in the rent.

There is a suggested menu that can be shared with you or you can always select your own recepies and ask the cook directly for special food requests.

3. Bed service
Every room will be cleaned daily, but sheets and bath and pool towels are changed every 3 days for ecological reasons (unless change is necessary).

4. Laundry
The cost of washing clothes is 250 pesos from one garment to a full washing machine load. And 200 pesos for additional washing machine.

* Only clothes with blunt soap can be washed due to water treatment plant issues.

5. Transportation
The rent does not include transportation from the airport to the house. However, we can help you organize the pickup with no adicional cost.

6. Beach
The house has walking access to two beaches, however it should be kept in mind that to access the beaches is via steep 200-step stairs. (5-7 minute walk)

Even when swimming with fins, it is suggested to only swim in the sea if you are an experienced swimmer.

7. Internet

The house has STARLINK wifi in the living room, dining room and TV room.

8. Activities

9. Sustainability

We are an ecological house and sustainability is very important to us, so we have a biodigester to reduce the polluting potential in the water, therefore there are certain important practices:

Do not use products with chlorine or soaps that are not organic.
The sheets and bath towels are changed every 4 days.
In case you want to wash clothes, an additional person is hired to wash clothes by hand. this has an additional cost of 600 pesos for the day.
