Windsong Retreat is truly a one-of-a-kind mountain luxury getaway in the peaceful side of the Smokeys. You’ll experience the only Zen Garden in the Smoky Mtns. Imagine having a pool and therapeutic spa ALL-IN-ONE – in the privacy of your custom-built pergola. This luxurious log-cabin is extremely private with 3 bedrooms – 2 bedrooms on main level plus a Master bedroom loft. The Chef-worthy kitchen includes several high-end appliances. Massive sliding glass walls. Located just over the Wears Valley/Townsend TN border. Sleeps up to 8 max.

★4WD is recommended during winter due to a steep road
★NO PETS ALLOWED. Dogs and cats urine and feces will kill the highly sensitive garden. A violation of this rule will result in a $2,000 fine and you will be asked to leave property
★ However, we understand the use of service dogs. Service dog should be with Handler at all times. If dog is left unattended it will be turned over to animal control and $400 will be applied for hair and pet odor
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS - There will be a $2000 fine + damages for parties or events and you will be evicted with no refunds.
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.
★ NO SMOKING INSIDE OR ON DECK★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home, front porch or deck. Any smoking evidence will result in a $500 fee for odor removal. Smoking is only permitted in the pergola. Available Bucket for cigarette disposal
★No confetti, candles or paper streams allowed

★ The Refundable Security Deposit is a
Hold and will be released upon check out but may be used if there is excessive cleaning or damages or
Unauthorized dog stay
★Late check out without prior notice can result in additional fees
★Visiting the garden is permitted but garden is very sensitive as such no playing, littering, clipping, pouring liquids, urinating on plants or garden.
★Indoor wood fireplace (Operational Oct-May) and Outdoor propane fireplace (year round) should only be operated by an adult
★Children under 6-10 years old require supervision at Swim Spa. No lifeguard on duty
★There is a strong water current while using swim spa. Please use with caution
★SPA COVER DOES NOT NEED TO BE REMOVED. To open cover, roll cover from the front to the end of spa until you reach the black bars. Please cover spa when not in use. Uncovered spa may get contaminated
★ Please do not tamper with spa knobs. Any malfunction will result in a damage fee
★Food displayed on listing is intended for marketing purposes only
★Quiet hours are from 10pm-8pm.
★No refunds for storms or power outages. We recommend purchasing travel insurance. If there is a power outage, there will be no internet water and possibly no heat until power is restored. We provide lanterns, flashlights and firewood but if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, please come prepared with bottled water, non-perishable food, etc.
★ There is a $49.95 cancellation for credit card processing fee
★All guests that book this cabin will be required to sign a rental agreement and agree to security deposit hold. Security Deposit hold will be released after departure but may be used to charge for any damages or excessive cleaning that occurred during your stay. Check in may be delayed if these are not completed within 2 hours of arrival
★ A sofa bed usage fee will be applied for parties larger than 6 guests
★Outdoor shower is turned off from Nov - May
★Please do not park past the "Do not park" sign on the rocks. There are valves underground that can be damaged from parking
★ Please note, we have a scheduled sprinkler for the garden during spring and summer. Your vehicle may get wet. We recommend bringing a car cover if you prefer that your car not get wet.
★ For the safety, of the home and our guests, there are security cameras facing driveway, back entrance and garden.
★ During winter, we advise driving a 4WD as the narrow paved road leading up to cabin has slight incline and turns
★ Propane refills aren’t included, but the tank can easily be refilled at local Dollar Store or Ace Hardware


Naturally being in the mountains, you may encounter insects, bugs, mice and outdoor wildlife. While we do take all preventative measures to keep critters and insects out with monthly scheduled pest control, there is always the possibility that one may come through an opening. Please try to keep doors shut to help keep any possible insects out.

It is not uncommon to encounter bears or any wildlife in the Smokies especially May - Nov. And you may see a
Mama and cub roam the grounds. Please do not go near or feed them. Do not leave any food or drinks in the car or outside. Bears may try to break in car. Keep vehicles locked at all times. We are not responsible or liable for any damages or harm from bears. Please be aware of bears when cooking outdoors. Do not leave food unattended while outside or on the grill. Please keep all doors and sliding glass door closed and locked during bear season. Supervise young children when outdoors

For your convenience we supply you with a starter kit of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap, paper towels, trash bags and one tank of propane. You can purchase more propane by taking the tank to at Dollar Store or Ace Hardware
