The Space:
This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with space to accommodate 8 will have everything your group needs for a memorable getaway with an open-layout great for groups to spread out while still having separation of space for a restful night of sleep. From the moment, you will be in awe of the stunning views over the surrounding trees and the 10-Mile Range. And, thanks to the soaring windows throughout the home, you can enjoy these views from nearly every room! Just outside your front door endless mountain adventures await from skiing, hiking trails, snow-shoeing, and mountain biking, this home places you near it all.
On the main level, you will find an open and social layout with the kitchen/dining/living room. This room is filled with soaring windows providing impressive views over the surrounding nature. A warm charm completes the space with a corner fireplace on a red brick hearth, vaulted wood panel ceilings, and exposed wood beams. In the living room, you will find a large sofa and two sitting chairs situated around a second fireplace, so you can enjoy a cozy evening warming up by the fire while watching a movie. Behind the living room is the dining area where you will find a table for 6 located next to the fireplace on the brick hearth with soaring windows all around. A large kitchen bar connects the kitchen to the dining area and features four bar stools providing additional seating. In the fully equipped kitchen, you will find stainless steel appliances, lovely granite countertops, and all the basic cookware needed to prepare a delicious meal.
During the summer months, step outside the sliding glass doors onto the spacious deck where you will find a BBQ, a patio table with four chairs, and an additional four chairs for lounging. This space will become your group's favorite hang-out spot, you truly can’t beat these views! Sit back and relax while taking in the scenic forest and mountain views that can be seen from all around, it will be your own slice of outdoor paradise.
Back inside the home on the main level you will find a bedroom located near the kitchen that is the perfect room for sharing or for little ones to stay in with a twin bed as well as a twin over twin bunk bed. Next to the bedroom is the main floor restroom, with a single-sink vanity and a bathtub/shower combo.
A master bedroom is located on the second floor of the home and is a great room for families with little ones to share! This spacious room boasts a comfortable king-size bed as well as a twin-day bed across the room, so you can all enjoy a restful night of sleep. Wake up to stunning views thanks to the soaring windows that fill this room, it will be a memorable way to start your day. Attached to the bedroom is a master bath where you will find a single-sink vanity with ample under-the-sink storage space, and a second space separated by a door with a walk-in shower featuring a built-in bench.
Providing even more space for your group to spread out is the basement floor of the home, where you will find a second living room and kitchen area, as well as the third bedroom. The basement living room is a dynamic space perfect for everything from having a game night, watching a movie while relaxing by the fire, or sleeping space. The living room boasts a variety of seating options with a love seat sofa and an L-shaped sectional, as well as a small table with two chairs next to the fireplace. For larger groups, turn this space into an extra sleeping area and pull the sofa out to a comfortable full-size bed. Just off the basement living room is a kitchen, providing an easy space to prepare snacks or happy hour drinks! The cozy kitchen features everything from a range of appliances to a full-size fridge and ample counter space.
Rounding out the basement is the third bedroom with a queen-size bed in a log bed frame, a sitting chair, and a large closet for storing personal items. A full-size bathroom is between the basement kitchen and bedroom and features a single-sink vanity and a bathtub/shower combo.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home and outdoor spaces, as well as parking for as many as four vehicles in the driveway in front of the home. Due to this home's location, vehicles with 4WD is required in the winter months. Please make sure you have a sufficient vehicle, otherwise the home may be inaccessible.
The Neighborhood:
This beautiful mountain home is located in the scenic Blue River, less than 6 miles from the popular Breckenridge Main Street and BreckConnect Gondola. Situated atop a hill surrounded by a beautiful forested setting, the home’s location is perfect for those looking to explore this outdoor wonderland, putting you within a short distance of many hiking, snow-shoeing, and mountain biking trails. From this home, you are close by to Continental Falls, the Blue River, Goose Pasture Tarn, and various hiking trails, including the nearby Spruce Creek Trail, Blue Lakes Trailhead, and McCullough Gulch Trailhead. In the summer months, you can fish at Blur River, which is famous for its trout. In the winter time, grab your skis and make the 20-minute drive to Breckenridge Ski Resort. If you want to make your way into the charming downtown Breckenridge area, it is a short 12-minute drive from your door. There you can make your way to BreckConnect Gondola to hit the slopes or explore the charming Main Street area with its many shops, breweries, and restaurants.
Getting Around:
This home is located just off of Highway 9 - the main highway in the area that runs through Blue River and leads to Breckenridge to the north and the quaint towns of Alma and Fairplay to the south. Its close proximity to this major highway makes it easy to get on the road to head toward wherever your adventures take you. Breckenridge is a mere 12-minute drive away. There, you can make use of the Breck Free Ride buses which run FREE routes throughout the town, making it easy to get just about anywhere. Or, make the 6-minute walk to the Sherwood Lane bus stop on the Summit Stage Blur River Commuter Line. It goes all the way to Alma and into Breckenridge where you can ride the Breckenridge Free Ride or stay with the Summit Stage to Keystone, Dillon, and even Copper all free.

Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.

Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

• 50% of payment is due upfront and the rest of the payment is due (14) days before arrival.
• Booking Fee: We charge an additional, non-refundable fee of 2% of the total payment to cover the cost of booking processing.
• The credit card holder must provide a picture of the back and front of their ID via a secure and encrypted portal upon confirmation for fraud protection.
• Please promptly respond to any inquiries or requests for additional information to ensure the confirmation of your booking; failure to respond in a sufficient manner may lead to cancellation of the reservation.
