We had a lovely time at the Silver Strand in Marina Del Rey. Mark the owner, was super accessible and reached out ahead of our arrival to help with check in. He also left us a bottle of wine! The space is small but clean and had everything we needed. We loved having the mini patio right outside our door that led to one of the malls to walk our dog. The location right on the canal of Marina Del Rey and a stones throw to the beautiful beach cannot be beat. We also loved walking to the Hive cafe for breakfast in the morning. Thank you, Mark, for a great stay!

This is a beautiful property in a great location! The owner was very responsive and helpful. It was great to be able to bring our Dog with us, the park strip behind the unit was perfect for the quick walks with our Dog and the close proximity to the beach was amazing.We will certainly book here again when we are in the area!!

Mark was a great host. Caring and great communication. Helped with good restaurant recommendations and tips for viewing 4th of July fireworks, for example. We loved the quiet location for bike riding and ocean access. I missed not having an ice maker but that was minor and my only negative comment so that means we were very, very pleased. He provided ample coffee pods and even a bottle of wine. We felt like valued guests. Thank you, Mark

It was perfect for my me and fiancé. Loved the layout and the extras including a loud fan, beach chairs / umbrella and the back patio. Down time there was awesome and it was nice being tucked away in our quiet-ish little corner of the city, located right by the canals and the ocean. 11/10 stay!

My wife and I have just returned home after a wonderful week in Marina Del Rey at Marks Vrbo accommodation. Everything about the property was perfect for us. The apartment was spotlessly clean.The location is quiet, but a short walking distance from the Marina, the beach, Ballona Lagoon, Venice Canals. It's even only 25 minute walk to Abbot Kinney and it’s shopping.Mark was always there if you needed help. but never intrusive. The apartment was very well equipped. and had everything you could possibly need and more.Every morning we would open the door to his tropical garden to the sounds of running water and the wonderful smell of sweet jasmine flowers. It’s the perfect place to stay and hope to book it again in the future.

No surprises here! The property is exactly as pictured :) You walk in to the living room / kitchen area, then pass thru the bathroom area into the bedroom. The living room is comfortable. The kitchen has all the necessary items to cook your own meals if you choose to. I liked that the bathroom sink was a separate area from the toilet/shower area. The bedroom had plenty of room and closet space. The water feature just outside the bedroom doors to the patio was a nice touch. One thing to be aware of is that the unit does not have its own climate controls, they are in the host's unit (the host lives upstairs) - a quick text message was all it took to have the temp set to what worked for me. Also, just the nature of the space, because it is in the lower portion of a townhouse style unit, you don't get a lot of natural light because of how close the buildings are to each other. All in all, I had a great stay and would stay here again as well as recommend it to anyone looking for this type of rental in this area.

Great Place to Relax near the Beach

Perfect for a couple who wants to relax by the beach. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, cafes, etc. 2 small refrigerators, microwave, stove/oven and toaster oven make for a very workable kitchen. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful location for our weeklong stay with our small dog. Unit is as described and is immaculate. The layout is really cool as there are separate spaces, not all one big room. Mark is the perfect host in every way and check in was a breeze. The location is right by the beach and the walking path was perfect for our dog. Having a parking spot is a plus too. We would definitely go back to this neighborhood gem.

A Week in Paradise!

We loved our stay at Mark’s property. Comfy bed with beautiful linens and plush towels. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need. The apartment itself is super close to the beach and Marina walking path. We hope to be back very soon!

Marina Del Ray get away

Loved this location and will definitely be back! We were in town to visit our daughter who lives in Culver but wanted a less city feel. This location was great in proximity to her and being able to walk our dogs. The surrounding area was perfect for that. Us & our pups very much enjoyed the location & scenery. Very quiet property. Loved our stay!

Immaculate. Great location.

Perfect spot for our long stay. Well located for driving to everything west of LA. and only about 20 minutes from LAX terminals. Easy walk to ocean, and the Ocean Front Walk that takes you through Venice and into Santa Monica. Space was immaculate and well-equipped. Host could not have been more helpful and easy to work with.
