Weekend stay

It was a nice place to stay for a weekend. My husband and I stayed there but were only there to sleep due to moving our son into an apartment. He will be attending medical school at Liberty University. It was great for a weekend stay.

Cute Place!

This is a nicely decorated, comfortable and clean place to stay. I enjoyed the historical aspects- wooden floors, old doors, etc. It had everything you might need for a few days or longer. Easy communication with property manager. I would stay here again.

Lovely

Very clean and cozy with attractive decor. The only issue was one night there was loud music in the neighborhood until the wee hours.

Good spot for 2

Enjoyed our stay in the Rivermont area. No issues at all. Comfortable bed and everything was clean. For guest, There is some noise around at night depending on the traffic and loud speakers from cars and the toilet is not ideal for anyone over 6ft, it’s a little small. Spot is really ideal for anyone who plans to spend majority of their time downtown Lynchburg and was quick to get to LU as well.

Cute Cottage!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cottage. The place was located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood only a few minutes from downtown Lynchburg. This cottage is perfect for a single person or couple. During our stay, we experienced a few issues including the door code upon check-in, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a leaky AC unit. However, the host was communicative with prompt and helpful responses. The host even sent someone to reset the Wi-Fi router in the adjoining house. We’re grateful for our stay, and the Cozy Cottage was a nice home base during our vacation.

Thank you Carl for being such a great guest and for your communication and understanding during your stay. I wish we could predict when these things would happen and prevent them but we can't. It is always appreciated when we have a guest that understands and allows us the opportunity to make it right. It was a pleasure to host you and we welcome you back any time!

Weekend at RC

Went to LYH to see my kid at RC and attend a ceremony and meeting on campus. It’s a 25 minute walk to campus from the cottage (I had a car but I also walked it a number of times). The cottage is adorable. It was perfect for me. It’s probably not great for someone very tall or large as the bathroom is a little snug. I needed to extend my stay by a night and the communication and organizing of that was excellent. I really appreciated being able to stay an extra day. I would definitely stay here again.

Very cozy and quiet

Cozy, clean, easy access (park 10 feet from the door), friendly neighborhood, no traffic noise. Pizza delivery found us easily. It has laundry facilities next door, but we didn't need to use them. We stayed several days during the HOT days of Summer and the A/C did just great - cool and quiet. Full size fridge and stove, dishes, silverware, etc all provided. The bathroom is small, but has a full-size tub with shower. It's all you need. There are a TON of amenities in the huge closet that we didn't need (iron, ironing board, hell, there was probably a MAID in there somewhere!) We are repeat customers.
