We loved everything about our stay at the Pottery Cabin. We felt so blessed to enjoy a colorful display of fall leaves and the peace of actually hearing them fall! We were welcomed by a bottle of wine local honey, a mug, and blueberry muffins. Fresh flowers on the table, handcrafted local soap, handmade pottery dishes, and a huge stock of firewood for the firepit were just a few of the special touches we enjoyed. Our pottery lesson with Doc was fantastic, we loved petting the horses, and Melanie gave us great ideas of local things to explore (goat farm, farmers market, Cider tap room, etc). Our beds were comfy and the cabin was well stocked (minimal cookware if you plan to eat in, but we got along). This is a beautiful remote location, the hosts are lovely and very respectful of your privacy. My 80 year old mother, my sister and, I all had a wonderful stay!
Note: The driveway is steep - our minivan could not make it to the top, which required a steep walk from car to cabin. If your vehicle isn't equipped for the mountain, bring a cart to haul your stuff - we were happy to have one!
