Local activities include: star gazing, grill, hike to one of the many alpine lakes, paddle board the lake, horseback ride, hike with lamas, ski Monarch, white water raft, day trip to the great sand dunes, fishing and ice fishing, hunting, visit Mission Wolf (wolf sanctuary), leaf peep in the fall, visit Bishop's Castle, and admire the gorgeous Sangre de Cristo Mountains!

Futon in the office can also be made up into a single bed, if needed.

Fireplaces in both bedrooms. Each can be used with or without heat. Creating ambiance, or ambiance and warmth. To suit individual preferences.

Wi Fi

Large 65" Smart TV with many streaming services included. Can also be a used as a 3D TV. Thus, a large selection of regular and 3D DVDs provided, as well as, four pairs of comfortable rechargeable 3D glasses.

Coffee and tea provided. Drip coffee machine.

House is located on a hill, making the views even more superior!

NOTE: Westcliffe is a designated dark skies community, so light pollution must be avoided after dark (ie all window shades drawn and porch light in back turned off). FYI you have the best chance of seeing the most stars if it's not the week of the full moon. There is not a dishwasher, so dishes must be washed by hand. Lastly, there is heat, but no A/C. Don't worry, the summer temp is comfortable with the windows open.
