10/10. If you’re looking for location, location, location - this is it. Access directly to a beautiful beach. Swimming pool, hot tub, several decks, fully furnished kitchen. You name it, this place has it. We’ll be back!

This is a quintessential California beach house with amazing sunset views overlooking Mission Bay. You are right on the walking path around the bay with lots to do! Can walk to great coffee joints, a farther walk into the main drag with bars and restaurants. IF air condition is important to you, this house does not have and the lower level bedroom could be hot during the day but with ceiling and additional fans that they have, it is fine, there are no screens on the lower floor bedroom. The main floor bedrooms do get a nice breeze through windows. I did pay for the heated pool, but it was not really necessary. There was an issue with the hot tub, that was not hot at all but they are working on this malfunction and in process to fix (check to make sure fixed if important to you!!) The unit is clean, the kitchen is very well equipped, the water pressure and heat in showers was great and the beds and pillows are comfy. The communication is quick and efficient. The check in is later, 4pm, so if you need to get in earlier, you really have to book the night before so you can start as you mean to go for let's say a long weekend.

Great time!

We had a wonderful experience. The hosts were very communicative and the house was as advertised. The pool was a great piece for us after a long day of hitting the sites and the kids really enjoyed being so close to the beach. Great times were had by all!

Nice Accomodations

The pool and hot tub and view were amazing. Location on Mission bay with access to paved trail around bay was awesome. Home has no A/C -not unusual for Sandiego, but was musty/ hot at check in. Ant problem in kitchen/ lower level but mgmt was very responsive. Would consider staying here again.

Amazing Experience

The property is gorgeous, and the management team was outstanding. They were incredibly responsive, personable and accessible for any needs we had - before we arrived, during and even after. I will certainly want to stay at this property again and will definitely seek properties managed by Coast Vacation Homes. We took our two teenagers and a friend of theirs each to this property and they had the best time. Easy walkable location to do a lot. Beach and pool right there. Best trip ever!

The location was awesome!

Overall the stay was great. The location was amazing. I did feel it was priced a little high for the actual house. My husband and I had to take the bedroom on the bottom floor as the other kings had small bathrooms or adjoining bathrooms. There was a stale odd odor in our room We had to go out and buy air freshener and we sprayed a lot.

Great house, great location

Nice modern and well-kept house, comfortably slept four couples. Very quiet neighborhood with some walkable amenities. Only disappointment was that the spa, a key amenity, wasn’t working. Equally disappointing was no offer of compensation- waiving the pool heating fee might have been fair. Easy parking, great views including sunsets.

Thank you so much for your kind review! During this stay, there was in fact a difficulty with the spa, so we heated the pool to be above 90 degrees for the entire time that the spa was being repaired. The spa has since been repaired and all is working perfectly!

Fantastic pool and hot tub - right on the beach!

6 of us stayed at this beach house and had a terrific time. The kitchen is well appointed for 6 people - and multiple decks were available for ocean views and people watching, which was entertaining. Beach houses are notoriously hard to keep clean - especially the outside areas. Leave us some cleaning supplies and I will help! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this beach house for 6-8 people. Fun time!

5 adults/3 kids (7-10) Mission Bay Vaca

Beautiful location with many nearby attractions. House was large and for most part great for us. Few things that family traveling with had minor complaints with was cleanliness (surface clean overall but areas that could use a little more deep clean), the amount of cleaning supplies there (bought some and left for next guests), as well as this might of been our overlooking no AC. Lower bedroom/bathroom was very warm/humid. Other than those few things we truly enjoyed our stay and responsiveness of rental company was excellent.

Nice San Diego Bay Getaway

In an Aug 2024 stay in this lovely home, my family and I enjoyed a fabulous week on Sail Bay right at the beach. The home is a great home with the ability to have the pool, access to the beach and great surrounding areas of San Diego. My family was disappointed about some aspects of the cleanliness of the home. We found that the young children with us had filthy feet from walking barefoot around the floors. It was also a real shame that the views from the pool and the balcony were not as great due to the uncleanliness of the glass surrounding the property. The down stairs bedroom (the 4th bedroom) shouldn't really be listed as a bedroom as it is a poorly converted "mudroom" as its the only room with entrance from the pool and beach area. Having a stair case in the middle of a bedroom is really an indication it was a converted room. There are no windows that can be left open overnight in the room, and there was an odor in the bathroom from sewage. Overall, this house has the ability to be everything a family would want a San Diego vacation to be. I hope some constructive criticism works to make this home the potential it has! With the correct attention and fixings, we would be tempted to return again!
