Getting Around:

● Drive, bike, or walk within the community. You will need a car to go anywhere outside of the community. Uber and taxi cabs are available in the area, but can have long wait times or be difficult to find.

● We strongly recommend that you travel in a AWD/4WD vehicle. We are located in the mountains and roads can be slick and poorly maintained.



Other Things to Note:

● The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation. If not signed within the deadline, your booking may be cancelled with no refund.

● This property can accommodate up to 12 guests per local regulations. Infants under 2 are not included in this count, allowing up to 3 additional infants beyond the maximum guest limit



DOG FEE:

● $50 per dog. All dogs must be vetted. We allow a maximum of 3 dogs per booking, and we have the right to decline dogs based on breed or age. The appropriate fees will be requested once final approval has been confirmed.



● Guests are REQUIRED to register with A Pocono Country Place at least 48 hours prior to check-in.

● $75 registration fee per group (mandatory) for late registrations. This will be charged to the guest if registration is not completed in a timely manner.

● AMENITY PASSES FEE: Pool Access - $12 per person per day (Children 3y/o are free)

● Please note, the community fees are not our fees as the host, but fees the community requires for all guest registrations to help cover the costs associated with operating and maintaining all the great amenities and facilities at A Pocono Country Place.



AMENITIES SCHEDULE:

● Pools are open only in the Summer, typically starting Memorial Day Weekend

● Lakes are open only in the Summer

● Lakes and pools are not open daily and are subject to change due to staffing and weather

IMPORTANT!

● We cannot guarantee the availability of each amenity and the state government may shut down lake access statewide without notice for your safety.

● To enter the community, you will need to stop by the Welcome Center with your driver's license and vehicle registration to get a pass for your stay.

● When drought, weather or other conditions present an unusual fire risk, a burn ban may be imposed by the community without prior notice.

● Access to the A Pocono Country Place community amenities (such as the pool, lake, beach, etc.) is managed by the HOA and is subject to change without notice. Availability, operating hours, and reservation requirements are outside of our control. We recommend checking the official community website or calling their direct office phone number for the most up-to-date information before your stay.

● Tenants may take pets to the K Dog Park (off Waterfront Drive) or the E Dog Park (off Brentwood Drive). Please note that all animals must be registered with the association, vaccinated, and kept under control in these areas. Pennsylvania leash laws must be followed at all times, and all pet waste must be cleaned up when walking along Association roads or in common areas.



● Wander Home requires that all guests are 100% verified. Please upload government issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as sending us a photo of your ID after booking confirmation.

● Eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee.

● A damage waiver fee ($40) is included for all reservations. Most channels add this upfront. Others do not have this capability, and it will be manually added to the invoice once the reservation is confirmed.

● Given the rural setting of the property, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, flying insects, and mice may occur despite our year-round pest control efforts. We strive to manage these encounters to the best of our ability, but cannot guarantee that the house will be completely pest free.

● We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: Weis Markets, ShopRite, ALDI, Walmart, CVS

● We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank
