Welcome to The Sandpiper Beach House! Our home away from home is your perfect seaside getaway. Blocks away from the beach, the bay, and local attractions like Avalon Surfside Park and Arcade. Four bedrooms, remodeled kitchen and sunny patio deck with dining table and lounge chairs. Whether you're bringing the whole family or looking for a quiet, spacious place to unwind, The Sandpiper Beach House has something for everyone!
The Space:
Four bedroom, two floor Avalon beach style house with three full bathrooms. The downstairs is perfect for kids with two bedrooms, shared bath, and smart TV's in each room. Our living room, kitchen, and dining room are located upstairs in an open floorplan. Two more bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, each with smart TV's and bathrooms. A large deck with patio furniture is perfect for al fresco dining with the family, watching the sunset, or sunbathing.
Amenities:
In addition to today's basic necessities such as powerful wifi and smart tv's, The Sandpiper comes with a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a stainless-steel refrigerator, convection oven, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. Our oversized, double garage has 4 bikes, 10 beach chairs, 4 boogie boards, 1 beach umbrella and 2 saltwater fishing poles at your disposal. Central air conditioning and heating are included for your comfort. Onsite clothes washer and dryer. A large backyard with gas grill and outdoor shower.
Style:
The Sandpiper has a birdwatching theme including artwork and statuettes located around the house. House tones are beige, turquoise, and blue in keeping with a beach motif. The furniture gives the house a beachy, comfortable cottage vibe for a beach home offering plenty of fresh salt air, sunlight, and space to relax.
Location, Location, Location!
You'll be less than 2 blocks walk to the ocean or 1/2 block walk to the heart of Avalon's shopping district, famous for its restaurants, nightlife, boutique shopping, and children's activities including miniature golf and sweet spots for ice cream and donuts. Once you arrive, you never need to get in a car during your stay!
1. No pets.
2. No primary renters under 18 years old.
3. No smoking.
4. No conduct which would violate Avalon's Rental Ordinance or Noise Ordinance.
5. All beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, fishing rods, and other beach items must be washed with fresh water after each use (use the hose on east side of house).
6. No overnight guests not included in the primary reservation without Host's prior approval.
7. Bed linens must be stripped and put in laundry room along with used bath towels and beach towels prior to checkout.
8. The outdoor shower must be secured after each use.
9. The deck umbrella must be closed at sunset each night. Flag poles must be secured at all times and removed at sunset each night.
10. In the event of high winds, tunderstorms, or other inclement weather events, patio furniture must be stacked and the umbrella and flags must be put inside the house. Host reserves the right to enter the premises with no less than four (4) hours notice to make emergency preparations in the event of a weather alert or emergency.
11. All trash & recycling must be separated & placed in the bins in the garage before checking out.

He has an education and background in hospitality, having worked in first class hotels and resorts. She comes from a family with ties to Avalon going back when Jack's was popular (now townhomes) and the Princeton had wood shavings on the floor. We have a passion for beach life and believe in the recuperating power of the ocean and fresh salt air. We understand that families need amenities, technology, and separate spaces to have an enjoyable vacation together, and we love this house because it provides everything you could want to have a turnkey getaway. The Sandpiper is conveniently located close to everything that makes Avalon special so guests can take advantage of all that Avalon has to offer, all within walking distance! The beach is a short walk to the east, while the heart of downtown Avalon is only 1/2 block to the west. Fine dining, nightlife, shopping, and kids' activities are all moments away. The neighbors to the sides and back of the house are considerate of our home's guests. There is ample parking for 4 cars in the front of the house, but street parking is also frequently available.
