Casa Carmelo enjoys 220 acres of private, gated, unspoiled jungle for your exclusive enjoyment and privacy. Our property is within the Volcán Mombacho Nature Preserve and is protected from further development. This is a three bedroom, European style, American construction, local materials, well built luxury home perched at 1666’ feet above historic, colonial Granada. Enjoy perpetual, cool breezes from Lake Nicaragua, hiking trails, exotic birds, sloths and howler monkeys! We know Tranquillo!
The space
The property boasts the most breathtaking views you'll ever experience. The entire north side is comprised of glass doors that stack up on either side which opens the house to the sounds, winds and unobstructed views. This happens in both master suites and the main living/dining area. It feels like there are no barriers to your enjoyment. There are no neighbors nearby, so you can truly be yourself. The house is equipped with more amenities than any other, including a Fender guitar, an office, fast internet, a Jacuzzi, and even a guest house if desired. Need a truck? We have one available for you. We also welcome your furry friends! It's the perfect place to embark on nearby adventures and have a blast!

This package includes full occupancy of the charming three-bedroom main house along with an optional (additional cost) one-bedroom guest house, conveniently located near the main driveway. The property offers ample parking space, including a garage. Moreover, the house is fully equipped with abundant food and kitchen supplies, dog bowls, linens, and a consistent supply of hot water. This is a home that caters to all your needs.
Other things to note
A key concern to renting my home is the road up from Granada. The road is steep and rocky. This property requires a vehicle with some ground clearance. Four wheel drive can also be helpful. The house has an appropriate SUV Nissan Patrol which you can rent for an additional $60 per day. Call or text me and I'll go over the contract and details with you. We can pick you up either at the airport or in Granada if you don't have a truck or 4x4 car with clearance.
