I have stated that the loft is only for small children. sorry you didn't see the small ladder behind the trash can. It is a good idea for me to state to guests that a larger ladder is available. We will include that in the new upcoming, and revised guest manual. We try to make all guests feel at home. Please let us know how we can make your next stay better for you. I disagree with this review. I have my house and my cottage fumigation cleaned to the upmost. I have my couches and any upholstry shampooed and carpet after eat use. If there is time between stays I with do a touch up. I make sure there are no flees. Now when it comes to the outside bugs can't helped thelat. I am in the woods. As far as the rooms. I have my listing very detailed starting it is a 2 bedroom but the bedroom/living area there is a sofa bed to sleep on and the 2nd bedroom is for little kids only or can be used for storage. It's a kids loft. And the listing goes into to derail staying what and how it can be used. I told the customer this when she booked. She originally booked it for one person then wanted to change it for 3 people. I accommodated her. And specified that she can use either a blow up mattress and other substitutions. I offered to go to the store to make her happy. She was quite content and decided to move forward with this booking and complimentary means I gave her. I offered snacks and drinks and much more. Never did she complain during her stay. I asked everyday. I cooked them food. Went to the store for them. She stayed her full time. During her stay we did do cleanup tried to stay out of her area. 8 have to maintain 32 acres and with the weather the way it was the grass gross fast. So mowing the grass is a necessity. It has to be done to maintain nats and other annoying bugs. Trash on trailer was there for 1 day period. Then taken to the dump. I gave the customer 10% off for the water leak that just happened in my half a million dollar home. So very sorry for the inconvenience. I do apologize. You never know when this will happen. But it did and it made her unhappy. The dog got through the gates that is true and left a mess on one of the carpets also this is why she got partial a refund. The carpet was not left behind. We have a closet in that bathroom which houses supplies and has a 80 gallon water heater and a "nevercold" system. My bathroom is connected to my office. And that is a regular size shower. It is not a trailer size shower/tub. Its a small bathroom. With a private toilet sitting area and door in the bathroom. I have a 3000 square foot home. Not everybodys bathroom is huge. So my husband put the replacement carpet there and then took the old one out. I can appreciate the fact some people may not agree with a review or may not agree with my response. But to set the record straight on both ends we do have that option. And I appreciate the opportunity and am sorry she felt this way. But a customer who is that unhappy. Has the option to leave and not keep excepting my offerings and telling me they are having a great time. And I am a great host. As I am taking pictures with there camera and going to the store for them and then ask me for a refund. Also I do not allow at all WHETHER PERSCRIBED OR NOT ILLEGAL DRUGS ON MY PROPERTY. IT STATES THAT. Especially when. You sneak it. If it was perscribed then you ask put of respect. But hiding it tells me something else especially since I didn't see a prescription.
