This is a beautiful log cabin, tastefully and thoughtfully appointed. First floor has a wonderful double gas fireplace with one side facing the living area and the other facing the master bedroom. The cabin has both a large hot tub on the back deck and a smaller jacuzzi-style tub inside. The large loft has two beds, a nice reading nook, and a two-player classic arcade table. The cabin is small, so be aware there’s not a lot of storage space. That includes in the kitchen, which is nice but small and that limits how much is available: one blender but no other small appliances, two mixing bowls but no serving bowls, one chef’s knife and one utility knife, etc. But I cooked for a week, so it was fine… and the stove is very good and on temp, which seems to never be the case! As noted by another reviewer, the cabin is in a sort of “subdivision” of cabins, so it’s not secluded in that sense. That didn’t bother us at all but be aware of it; the view out front is pretty but with other cabins across the street. The view out back is nonexistent — a dirt bank, where the cabin is built into the mountainside. But it’s in a perfect location, so close to Pigeon Forge to be very convenient and just far enough outside to feel remote. It’s a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing cottage that’s well-kept, the host communication was great, and we’d stay again in a heartbeat.
