Imagine yourself on the beach, at Playas Gemelas, nestled near the Sierra Madre mountains with tropical forest vegetation and sweeping views of Banderas Bay. It's built in the typical Puerto Vallarta old-style, beautiful Mexican Gold Coast. - Convenience store on premises - Poolside/beachfront bar and restaurant at this unique and family-friendly place.
The Space: Girasol Sur PH7 is a duplex penthouse condo. On floors 13 & 14, downstairs is a full bath/living room/balcony/and kitchen featuring counter seating. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of glasses, dishes, silverware, cookware, a coffee maker, stove top espresso maker, microwave, 4 burner stove, large sink, counter-top convection oven and full refrigerator. The 2nd floor has a master bedroom/balcony and 2nd bedroom each with its own on-suite bathroom. The unit features a stone staircase with a solid, safe railing.
Everything has been remodeled. Our unit is decorated with local art and has modern decor with travertine stone floors and granite counters throughout.
Building amenities include elevators, a reception desk, a pool overlooking the ocean, poolside restaurant, convenience store, laundry, a modest gym, access to the beach right from the pool, and the grounds are kept immaculate.
Guest Access: We will meet you at the property for check in and check out. There is access to laundry with no charge for use in the building we provide you a key to the shared laundry room.
The Neighborhood: The ocean front condo is located on the South Shore 10 min south of Old Town about halfway between Old Town and Mismaloya. Taxis, and buses are both available. There are many casual and fine dining options in Old Town along with lots of shopping and strolling along the Malecon . You can visit the Marina area and surrounding towns including Nuevo Vallarta, Punta Mita, Sayulita, Las Animas and Yelapa. There are lots of activities in the area including parasailing, ATV tours, day cruises, zip lining, the zoo, the botanical gardens, hiking, snorkeling, and enjoying the local beaches.
Getting Around: It is an easy taxi ride from the airport. The condo building is located directly on a bus stop 10-15 minutes from Old Town. The public buses run approximately every 20 min from early morning to late evening including weekends. Taxis are readily available throughout the town. There are car rental places if you wish to rent a car during your stay or even for a day trip or just to get around.
Other Things to Note: The building has a pool side restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a full bar. They provide pool-side service as well. There is a small convenience store on premise that offers essential you may need during your stay. There is a bus stop right outside the building and the public buses are inexpensive and run every 20 minutes. They are safe and convenient. Taxis and Uber are also available. The store and restaurant take cash only.

We check you into the rental in person, and we check you out of the rental in person. There is no self-check in or self-check-out option.
Security Deposit Required @ check in, 100% refundable at check out, $300 USD or Peso Equivalent (based on Bank of Mexico Exchange rates), this can be paid in cash our we can charge a credit/debit card on site at rental check-in/and process card refund at check out.
Check Out Policy: Check out is at 11AM.
We do not offer check out past 11AM.
Check In Policy: Check in is allowed between 4PM-9PM.
Early check in requests will be evaluated on a request basis.
After Hours Check In Policy: Check in after 9PM is not something we offer as a standard business practice. If arriving by air please book an earlier flight, if arriving by car leave earlier.
Getting through the airport can take 45 Minutes-1.5 hours arriving from out of country. Travel time to the property can take another 20-45 minutes. If you are renting a car that could take 1-1.5 hours for processing and paperwork. Please book a flight that gets you in early enough to allow for these items and arrival time no later than 9PM.
If you are planning on arriving or need to arrive after 9PM you need to inquire with us first prior making your reservation to see if we can accommodate you; if we can accommodate you there will be a late check in fee payable in cash due upon arrival.
If you fail to inquire and receive approval for late check in prior to making your reservation, you will be responsible for cancelling your reservation on your side at your full cost. Any cancellation requested within two weeks of the initial reservation being received will be granted a 100% refund, anytime after that normal cancellation policy applies. Please make sure you have your transportation arrangements worked out before you make your reservation or within 2 weeks of making your reservation or your funds may be at risk based on normal cancellation policy rules/regulations.
Interaction with Guests: During your stay, we can be reached in case of questions or emergency. The building staff includes maintenance should there be any need during your stay.

Great vacation great condo!
We had a wonderful time, a bit of a hiccup at check in when room was not ready,but had other family already there to store luggage while we waited at the on site restaurant. Condo, views, and the beach can not be beat! Will be staying again!

Awesome Stay
Loved the property, clean, comfortable, well supplied kitchen. The views were unbeatable. You could see turtlles and eagle rays in the ocean from the balcony every day. The water is clear enough to snorkle with hundreds of fish all around. The staff and food at the onsite restaurant made it easy to eat well without going to town.
