We enjoyed the large living room with plenty of seating. We also really liked the easy walk to the dock. The large porch was a great place to sit with a very nice view!

Memorial weekend

About the best vacation I have had in a long time. The property is very good, rooms are nice, well equiped, the lake view and access is amazing. I would add a better barbecue, but that’s it, the property is excellent for a big group.

Great location for summer

The house and property were clean. The furniture and beds were normal. The AC was not the greatest in the 3 other bedrooms as it could not get below 75 at night. The property does include ring camera spotlights that stay on with any movement so the sitting and porch areas at night were constantly lit with the light. The boat dock and beach area is a great area as the dock provided space for 3 boats and was in a private cove.

Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures

The house had a strong, musty smell due to ineffective HVAC in the back of the house. The refrigerator was not cold and was 'sweating' upon arrival. We waited for a couple of hours for it to cool - it did not and we had food spoil. The grill was unusable and in serious need of repair as well as there were no propane tanks that were filled for use. The left side of stovetop griddle was inoperable as well. The living room floor had food on it when arriving, and most light switches were very dirty and old - full of mold/dirt. Management company did not send code 30 minutes prior to arrival, but two minutes prior to arrival. Management company was initially responsive to fixing basic needs that are "normal and customary" according to the listing, but then became defensive and unresponsive (we tried to speak with owner but she would not return our calls and left a harsh message on VRBO message board.) after we requested a partial refund for lack of use of kitchen appliances as well as complete interruption for our family dinner due to having to wait around for HVAC repairman and other workers sent to address the many issues. Therefore, we were unable to leave property to enjoy evening on the lake due to strangers we do not know in the house with our personal belongings. Management stated that they had "done the best they could", but were unwilling to do the right thing and compensate us for lost time and money. This home is very old and needs a lot of upkeep and renovations.

This guest arrived at the home and notified us that the HVAC in the back bedrooms wasn't cooling, the refrigerator wasn't cooling, and there wasn't any propane for the grill. Within TWO hours of their notification (and and prior to their regular check-in of 4pm - we gave them an early check-in) We had replaced the refrigerator with a brand new one, replaced the grill with a new grill (propane tank still had propane in it) and had an HVAC repairman to the house and the problem with the AC was the guests just needed to turn down the thermostat. Every complaint was addressed and handled within 2 hours of being notified. The guest wanted us to reimburse them for their boat rental. Also, her claims that the home needs upkeep and renovations is unbelievable. The owner spent $250,000 updating this home in 2023. She disputed the credit card charge. We will not rent any of our properties to her again.
