The Cottage-Off Grid-some electric/running water 1hr15min to Acadia/Bar Harbor

You definitely won’t find the crowds out here. It’s super peaceful and quiet out here on our property! This adorable unique coastal tiny home cottage has a style all its own with an outdoor shower and toilet. Set in Downeast Maine it's just minutes from the seaside, and several lakes and ponds. Set back in the clearing of a large wooded property enjoy the sights and sounds of the birds and other wildlife roaming the property. Pick fresh Wild Maine Blueberries growing right on the property! Enjoy the amazing sights of the coastline just minutes away and delicious fresh seafood.
The space
Relax and enjoy nature and simplicity in our little tiny home cottage. Inside you'll have a comfy 12 inch thick queen memory foam mattress and a single bed in each loft above. There’s a small desk and a comfy loveseat for relaxing. Included is a small kitchenette including a cook-top with plenty of dishes and silverware. We have an ice chest to keep your food cold. There's plenty of room outside to cook over a campfire and have smores!

Attached to the cottage is a private outdoor shower with a solar shower and portable outdoor toilet. During the cold season, the toilet can be brought inside.

We are off grid and have a small solar battery to power your phone. There’s no running water on site. We do have potable water for drinking and dishes as well as rain water for the shower. The cottage is partially insulated and should be completed soon. It gets pretty cold in the cottage during the cooler seasons and we have a propane wall heater to keep you warm. We have extra blankets as well if needed. For hot showers, we can warm up water for you or you’re welcome to heat up a pot of water on our outdoor wood stove or campfire.
