Guests will have access to the first two levels of the house and outdoor area excluding the wood firepit.

Basement and garage are unavailable for guest access. Please, make yourself at home.

Please note: The outdoor fire table and furniture are stored for the winter season (November–April). The grill remains available for guest use year-round.

The house is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood.

The farmhouse is close to several grocery stores, (Meijer, Jewel, Aldi) restaurants (Uptown, Tap House Grill, La Tortuga Feliz) and shops (Target, Walmart).



Getting Around:

Parking at the house is convenient with a private driveway that can accommodate 6 vehicles. For exploring Plainfield and surrounding areas the best is by car.

Other Things to Note:

+ Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP.



+ The pool is seasonal- it is open mid-May to early September, weather permitting. **



+ The pool is not covered, so natural debris like leaves, grass, and bugs may occasionally fall into it. The pool is cleaned weekly on Thursdays and a net is provided for your convenience if you'd like to scoop out any debris. Please understand that refunds will not be issued for debris in the pool.



+ The outdoor fire table and outdoor furniture are stored seasonal. They are stored for the winter season (November–April). The grill remains available for guest use year-round.



+ For stays longer than a month, monthly cleanings are required and it is $100 cleaning fee per month.



+ Guest occupancy over 8 people is $50 per day per person.





★IMPORTANT★

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $37 on time fee, for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights.

We wanted to let you know there was a small fire recently with the outdoor grill that was contained to just the grill itself. However that area is not able to be used, but we have brought another propane grill that you are welcome to use during your stay. Also, the pergola lights will not be able to be used because the electrical that we used to plug them in is turned off right now due to the fire as well. We truly apologize for the inconvenience, and please know we’re already working with our contractors to get it repaired and back in working order as soon as possible.
