Great location

Love how close to Lake Michigan we were! Cute place, beds were semi comfortable - I’m picky however, only one shower but two bathtubs.

The perfect home for your getaway

This house was great!! Roomy and comfortable and the location couldn’t be better!!! An absolute gem. We can’t wait to book for next year. I made the reservation and everyone in the family said that I did a spectacular job finding this home.

Relaxing vacation with friends and family

We spent a wonderful time with family and friends. The owner was very attentive and helpful, and easy to communicate. Wonderful neighbors were very patient to our family gathering when we celebrated a birthday party. Very close to an excellent beach and downtown Racine. Hope to come back some day again.

Great location only two blocks for the lake!

Cool fun house, with a great location. Overall very happy with the house it had everything thing we needed. Tons of books and games! Table tennis was great for the young ones. Only one shower and the other bathroom only being a tub was weird but not an issue for us just was funny when I didn’t realize before jumping in. Not having any plastic kitchenware was difficult as we have younger kids and had to be super careful so they didn’t break anything. Other then that we had a great stay!

Lake Michigan vacation

This is a nice home in a very nice neighborhood, within walking distance of a beautiful trail that goes along Lake Michigan. The neighbors are kind and welcoming. There is only one television in the home which at first we thought that may be a problem with the kids but there were plenty of games and other forms of entertainment in the house for those evening hours before bed time. There were also sand toys for the kids to take to the beach. The cookware could use a bit of an upgrade but it definitely worked. We would definitely come back and stay in this house.

The Ants go marching...

First impression - very nice. Then we struggled greatly getting the door to unlock. The lock is extremely old - please invest in a newer system. Then the beds - all are wobbly! I'd suggest investing in quality bed frames to match your price for staying. Then the ants in the kitchen were an issue! No one wants to stay where insects are a problem. I sprinkled cinnamon around to get rid of them. Then the dishes - most were filthy! Then the basement - it too was dirty, messy and I was not amused by the cannabis in the ashtray. I'd get rid of Granny's knickknacks and and all the old spices. And, one TV in a bedroom was weird for a family vacation home. We had a great time in Racine but your home had too many issues to call it a good stay.

Man, In all my 7 years of being a host, I have never had this kind of review. I could address your issues one at a time but the note you left was so mean spirited it’s not worth the trouble. I am listed as a super host on air b for a reason. I can assure anyone seeing these comments, they are based on half truths.
