The hosts were very quick with communication and answering questions. The house was beautiful, exactly as described - clean and spacious. We brought along our two dogs who both loved the large property. The goats were a fun added feature. Overall, a great stay at a great spot!

Had the best time at this cozy little farm retreat. We came to take the kids to Hersheypark for 2 days…it’s the perfect spot to visit everything there and have much needed peace and quiet at the end of the day. My kids LOVED the goats and the extremely affectionate chicken almost as much as the roller coasters. Hosts were super helpful without being intrusive, beds were very comfy, price was generous. Would def visit again!

Super clean and outside was gorgeous. The goats and rooster are super friendly and adorable! It was great I love the dart board! It was so fun there; the goats were nice and cute. The rooster was so nice to us. Everything was cozy, and convient.This was amazing experience.Reviews done by two happy children who enjoyed their stay there.

We LOVED this place. Close to Hershey but far enough out to enjoy the quiet. The animals are great. They had some toys for kids (Tetris tower, blocks, leap pad, puzzles, board games, cards). It helped so much when you’re away from home. Grocery is only 10 minutes away. They had some snacks and feed bags for the animals ready to go. We loved feeding the goats (and the chicken named Violet). We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The home was very charming. We loved playing with the goats and chickens on the property. The host communicated with us regularly. The home was very relaxing and had all the amenities needed for a good time. I would definitely rent this home again.

We've had a great week at our "Pennsylvania house" according to my toddler. It's been so wonderful getting to choose our busy activities and retreat back to the quiet farm for our stay. All the places we chose to visit on our stay were just 10-65 minutes away, so this location is perfect for visits to Hershey, Harrisburg, and even Gettysburg! Make sure if you choose to stay here to (1) feed the goats and chicken and (2) get some delicious macarons at Sweet Velvet Macarons in Palmyra. This is a very family friendly place to stay. All of the furniture is comfortable. The farm house is well-maintained. There are games and activities for children and families. We will pick this house if we travel back to the area in the future!

Such a fun stay! The rooms are very adorably decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the water pressure is pretty good for the country! The house has central air/heat and retained perfect temperature. (Which came in handy my stay - i needed the AC the first night and then heat the second!) But the goats were so fun to hang out with. They provided snacks to give them and they were super social.

Cozy farmhouse .Convenient to Hershey and all the attractions. Loved the nice big bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with all the gadgets and dishes , etc. Hosts were friendly and communicated throughout our stay. Feeding the goats was supper fun . Over a foot of snow when we arrived and it was breathtaking. Highly recommend this home.

Super cozy and welcoming!

We absolutely adored the animal themed rooms and this was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! Plenty of yard for our two dogs to run around. Communication with the owners was very easy and welcoming! We would definitely stay there again!

Great stay!

Stayed in this home for a quick family trip with my son, husband, parents and pup. The house was clean and comfortable, we had a great time! The beds were way more comfortable than we expected! My son really loved meeting Dixie and Dolly (the goats) and being able to feed them. He’s already asking when we can go back!

Gorgeous and peaceful getaway

We had an amazing time in a great location. We spent a week waking up to gorgeous sunrises, overlooking a neighboring farm with cows sheep and goats, and had the fortune to be in a farmhouse cottage with goats and chickens right on the property. The owners thought of everything- even left bags of food for the sweet goats!

Wonderful time at PolkaDot Roost

While visiting the Hershey area attractions, we had a great time staying at the PolkaDot Roost. It was great to have such a peaceful retreat to return to at the end of each day, and we enjoyed the quiet mornings before we headed out as well. We had fun feeding the goats and enjoyed our stay on the farm. The property looks like it was recently completely renovated and had all the amenities and conveniences one could ask for.

Close to lots of things like Hershey and just a short drive to Turkey Hill, but also far from enough away to have a country feel.
