Welcome to our snug family cabin, nestled off the beaten path among the Ponderosa pines of the White Mountains.
Hand-built in 1962 and cherished by four generations, this is a place designed for family time—unplugged, unhurried, and full of simple joys.
Set at 8,500 feet and surrounded by National Forest, the cabin offers cooler temperatures than the rest of Arizona and space for kids to explore while adults relax. Spend your days hiking nearby trails, fishing the river just a short walk away, or visiting one of several nearby lakes. In the evenings, gather together to share meals, play games, and enjoy the quiet mountain nights.
Wildlife is part of the magic here. Visitors often spot elk, deer, turkey, squirrels, and a wide variety of birds right outside the cabin. Bring binoculars and nature books—kids love identifying their visitors.
Family fun in every season:
• Summer: Cool mountain air, fishing, lakes, and shaded forest walks
• Fall: A front-row seat to the elk rut and stunning golden aspen groves from mid-September through October
• Winter: Snowy days, cozy nights by the fire, and skiing just 20 minutes away
The cabin is only 1.3 miles from the town of Greer, making it easy to grab supplies or enjoy a family meal out while still feeling tucked away in nature.
