Gorgeous view, great location especially for our dog. A very peaceful vacation this time of year. Place itself is dated and could use some modernizing (especially the drapes and shades) but it has everything you need!

Just what we were looking for

Great location, great view, and well maintained property. Outside of some of the dishes and pots being a tad dirty (seems to happen at times with these kind of rentals), absolutely no complaints, and we'd definitely stay there again.

Good but expensive due to junk fees.

Stay was fine, house was clean and well stocked with necessities. Price per night as advertised was reasonable but doubled with additional fees making it almost unaffordable.

Fall Visit

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing view. Comfortable furniture. Floors creak terribly. Washing machine doesn't work
Antwort von VrboOwner am 16. Dez. 2021
Thank you for the review, Neil. I'm very sorry that you couldn't get the washing machine to work. I wish you had called the office and let us know that you were having trouble. The housekeeper had no problem at all after your departure washing all of the linens and towels in the condo. The owner commented that he had never heard the floors squeaking and none of the management or housekeepers had either. We did a site inspection and could not find the squeaky floor. Perhaps you had new shoes? I'm so happy that you loved the location of the condo.

Stunning View from our condo

We thought the property was beautiful. The amenities were brand new (gym, pool and restaurant) and all very nice. The house was quaint and the view from our bedroom and back patio was stunning! My only complaint would be the condo was a little outdated and bathrooms tiny. But it is a condo not a house so it was to be expected. We would definitely stay again if we went back to Black Butte Ranch.

Small condo with great views

Our two couples felt a bit cramped but the great views helped the space feel larger. Both upstairs bedrooms have openings to the floor below, closeable with barn doors. The downstairs bathroom has a sink with no vanity for toiletries, and a shower tub. The check out list of chores was long, including taking our trash to the transfer station since we were late season. Beds and furnishings are comfortable. Could use some updates.

Fantastic location and views, nice deck with grill (but no hot tub at the condo itself).Main issue was the interior gets hot because there is no window shade for the large window above the sliding door (most other condos seemed to have a shade there). Also, the primary bedroom shades are basically white with minimal light blockage, so it was tough to sleep past 6am.Upstairs bedrooms are good for adults and older children, but the railing gaps are wider than current code and are risky for any small children or pets, who could fall through and down 8 feet or so.Condo is stocked with laundry detergent and bar soap, but lacked shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and dishwasher detergent. The resulting inconvenience to guests exceeds the cost savings, particularly for an otherwise nice rental.

Thank you for your feedback. We will let the owner know about your suggestions regarding the blinds and railing. The weather has been unusually hot and usually the air conditioner is enough to keep the home cool. All of our homes are stocked with dishwashing pods and we apologized for this oversight. We hope the pods we brought to you were sufficient. Black Butte Ranch has so much to offer, we hope you and your family enjoyed your stay!

Relaxing family time

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was perfect for spending time with my sister and her husband visiting from Colorado. The view is magnificent, the accommodations are very comfortable, clean, and well stocked for cooking. The solarium windows allow for maximum enjoyment of the view. We enjoyed playing games at the table in the downstairs solarium and took advantage of the recreation centers. We're particularly grateful that we could have our 16 yr. old dog with us. She rested comfortably in front of the fireplace and enjoyed walks along the lakefront.

Beautiful Location on the Lake

Very peaceful location right on the lake. We saw a lot of birds, including eagles, and a river otter. It was so beautiful with the snow and perfect for a Christmas vacation, with lots of trails for long walks. We had three adults and a dog in our group and there was plenty of room for us. The only nit we have is there's no light in the dining room, in the summer the double height windows offer plenty of natural lighting, but in the winter the standing lamp in the corner doesn't offer any lighting. We had to move lamps from the living room into the dining room to see what we were eating.
