Cabin on Dairy Farm - Near Ark - Feed Grain to Calves and Goats

Welcome to Alpine Hills Swiss Cabin in Dry Ridge. If you love the outdoors, bring your family for a relaxing stay in our brand NEW country cabin. We are located on a 250 acre dairy and pumpkin farm. The house is surrounded by beautiful farmland with roaming beef and dairy cows. Sit on our front porch or at our fire pit and watch the amazing sunset. We are only 18 min. from the Ark and 40 min. from the Creation Museum.
We provide free tickets for our guests to Pumpkin Ridge during our Country Pumpkins Fall Festival. September 7th thru October 31st.

Sleeping Arrangements Include:

1 Full Bed and 1 Twin Bed in the Loft

Enjoy our large fire pit area which is shared with one other nearby vacation rental home on our property. Please bring your own wood and fire starting supplies.

Things to do in Northern Kentucky: The Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, Kentucky Horse Park, Turfway Park (horse racing), horse farm tours, Big Bone Lick State Park, Williamstown Lake, Boltz Lake, shopping, and dining. We are just 45 minutes from Cincinnati, OH where you can enjoy Reds games, Bengals games, Cincinnati Cyclones Hockey, the Cincinnati Zoo, the Newport Aquarium, Coney Island, Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati Museum Center, shopping, and dining experiences.

10 MPH speed limited on the gravel lane -- watch for children, especially during our fall festival.
Not all 250 acres are free for guests to roam. Because we sell raw milk as a business, no guests are permitted around the dairy barn.
This is a working farm. For safety, please limit your exploring to 900 ft of our cabin which is located on a quiet, peaceful location on our farm.

It was a very peaceful setting with a active farm and nature all around. We were greeted by the owner who made us feel very welcomed. Even with the busy pumpkin event going on their son came down and started a fire for us in our beautiful firepit. There are 3 cabins on this property and ours was the best. The cabin was a little warm. It was in the 80’s and we had the thermostat at 68. I think something that would help is have a blind at the front door. A lot of heat came through the door window. Other than that we loved the cabin and that it was really clean.

The cabin was perfect. Our kids loved the layout, and it was very clean and well stocked. The kids loved getting access to part of the farm, especially the slides and getting to see the goats! The corn maze was also a nice bonus to get to experience with the kids.

Creating Memories

Took two of our grandchildren on vacation to the Ark Encounter and decided to rent this cabin for three days based on it's reviews. It didn't disappoint. So clean and tidy with all the comforts of home. We played Uno, board games and read stories at the cabin. The kids said this was their favorite part of the trip. They loved their loft and the extra soft blankets. We slept well and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The host was friendly and accommodating. It was the perfect relaxing vacation! We were able to leave all our problems at home and just have fun together!

Relaxing and welcoming!

Very peaceful and relaxing. We were about a mile off the main road. It was very quiet with nature all around us. The cabin was so cute, clean and comfortable! We had everything we needed after a 9 hour trip! It was perfect for us! We went to Creation Museum, The Ark Encounter and to the Newport Aquarium! All informative places to visit! Thank you for providing us a nice place to stay and to be able to have this experience!

Wonderful Honeymoon !

Everything was amazing! Just beautiful. The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. All appliances were up to date. Everything you need for an extended stay with washer and dryer. So conveniently located between the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Plenty of shopping and restaurants as well. This will definitely be a place for us in years to come! God bless this family and providing such a wonderful peaceful place to stay!

Welcome to our farm! We are home to two family-owned businesses -- Alpine Hills Swiss Farm and Country Pumpkins Fall Festival. Alpine Hills Swiss Farm has been in operation since 1947. Milk was sold commercially for many years, but is currently a small herd-share operation selling milk directly to herd share members.

Country Pumpkins is our annual fall festival that begins September 9th and extends through the end of October with pumpkins, hayrides, corn mazes, and all the good, clean family fun you can imagine! We are offering free passes to Pumpkin Ridge for your family staying with us during this time.
