Unsere Blockhütte wurde im Juli 2010 auf 7,5 Morgen fertiggestellt, in die wir uns verliebt haben, als wir das Anwesen im März 2009 zum ersten Mal sahen. Rufen Sie an unter 812-726-4849, besuchen Sie unsere Website turkeyhillcabinrentals. Dieser Teil des südlichen Indiana ist so einzigartig. Die Aussicht erinnert uns an unsere vielen Reisen nach Ost-TN. Wir werden nie müde, wilde Truthähne und Weißwedelhirsche über den Vorgarten laufen zu sehen. Da wir eine Meile von der Hauptstraße entfernt und am Ende der Fahrspur sind, kommt kein Verkehr vorbei. Paare und Familien haben unsere Hütte genossen. Mit solider Blockbauweise und durchgehendem Holz hebt sich diese Kabine von anderen ab.
Dieser ruhige Rückzugsort ist nur wenige Minuten von einer Vielzahl von Aktivitäten entfernt. Gäste sagen oft, dass es so viel zu tun gibt. Sie können den Patoka See mit all seinen Möglichkeiten zum Bootfahren, Angeln usw. genießen. Besuchen Sie Indianas Spielplatz im historischen French Lick, IN. Nicht viele Kleinstädte bieten ein Weltklasse-Casino und -Golf, einen Indoor-Wasserpark und eine Go-Kart-Bahn, Fahrten in den Hoosier National Forest, ein lokales Weingut mit einer wundervollen Auswahl der besten Weine Indianas, zwei historisch registrierte Hotels, Paoli Peaks Skifahren und mehr.

Peaceful stay

Quiet Time

I rented this cabin for myself and my best friend to celebrate her birthday. We have been friends for over 60 years. We are both retired and value a few days to just relax from our busy lives caring for our families. The cabin was clean, quiet and equipped with all we needed and more. The scenery was like a picture! We loved our stay there and would love to go back someday!

Way far away from everything.

Just you and the woods with the nats ln control of the outside and over decorated on the inside with a scary stairs to the loft. Not recommended for us 75 year-olds with knee replacements.

Amazing Quite Location

Turkey Hill Log Cabin is an amazing place for a quite getaway. Millie's communication was top notch, the cabin was just as described and even decorated for Christmas. If we stay in the area again it will defiantly be at the Turkey Hill Log Cabin. Our youngest son's feedback. "100 stars, the best cabin ever!"

The house was great and had everything we needed. And more. Super clean and comfortable. We loved it. Millie was awesome to work with, very thoughtful. Our cell service wasn’t terribly reliable but we were happy to disconnect for a few hours every day.

Weekend with kids

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this property with our children. The place was just as advertised, clean and cozy. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub plus the beautiful yard to run around and explore. It was nice to be out of the city but still a short drive to all the activities in French Lick. The hosts were excellent communicators and plenty of information in the cabin to help guests access TV/kitchen items/etc. Definitely will be back- maybe without the kids for a more relaxing time!

Beautiful log cabin in remote setting

We came for golf and relaxation with our dog and it was perfect for us. The cabin was private but not too far away from French Lick. We enjoyed waking up to turkeys and deer in the yard. The owners lived next door but far enough away that we felt our privacy. The hot tub was great to have off back porch. The cabin had all the amenities we needed and would definitely recommend if visiting the area.

Peaceful

My husband and I just needed to get away. It's the perfect place to rest and regroup. The cabin is very comfortable, clean and a safe place to stay. We watched the sunset while in the hot tub! Beautiful Property!

We had a marvelous getaway at Millie and Terry's Turkey Hill Log Cabin. The property was stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need. It was comfortable and adorably decorated. There was ample outdoor space to play games, enjoy a fire and relax in the provided hammocks and chairs. The propane grill was easy to use and made dinner a snap! We also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub on the screened in porch! We were a quick car ride to the Patoka Lake Beach area where we enjoyed a lovely afternoon. We look forward to returning to Turkey Hill! Thanks Millie and Terry.

Great Girls Weekend Destination

For anyone looking for a place to relax in a quiet, hillside forested area open to the beautiful night sky, Turkey Hill is the place to be. What a great place to get away with my 3 adult daughters to celebrate a 40th birthday. The cabin had all of the amenities we needed for an unforgetable stay...comfy beds and seating, everything we needed for cooking our meals, washing beach towels after soaking and laughing in the hot tub and even wine glasses for our wine tasting. Though we didn't see turkeys, we spotted deer and enjoyed the sound of water streaming down the creeks during our walks. We only had one regret...that was that our stay was too short. We are looking forward to another trip soon. Millie has been quick to respond to any type of communication made. Thanks Millie and Terry for making our weekend so pleasant.

We have a background in building log homes so building this vacation rental on property which we plan to also retire to was an amazing adventure. Living an hour away we manage and clean the cabin ourselves because we truly enjoy the time we spend on Turkey Hill.
